Hellebuyck is in the starter's crease at Winnipeg's morning skate.

The Jets, the only undefeated team in the NHL this season (8-0-0), have given Hellebuyck the night off in two of the last four contests but will likely return to their All-Star netminder on Monday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hellebuyck has been outstanding to start the 2024-25 season, making an early-season case to win back-to-back Vezina trophies, posting a stellar 1.66 GAA and .940 SV% in six games (6-0-0). The Jets enter action on Monday as slight -110 home favorites against the Maple Leafs.

Luukkonen is in the starter's net at Buffalo's morning skate.

After evenly rotating between Devon Levi and Luukkonen in the first six games of the season, Luukkonen seems to have settled in as the Sabres' starting netminder and will likely be in the crease for a fourth straight contest on Monday night against the Florida Panthers. The 25-year-old Luukkonen was inconsistent at the start of the season but has allowed three or fewer goals in his last three outings (3-0-0), posting a solid .924 SV%. The Sabres enter the action on Monday as +134 home underdogs against the Panthers.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Martin has been recalled from Chicago (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Martin's call-up from the Chicago Wolves (AHL) indicates that something could be amiss with Carolina's two-headed goalie monster, Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov, but nothing has been announced yet. Hurricanes' head coach, Rod Brind'Amour, will likely provide an update on Monday.

Spencer Martin
Sgarbossa has been recalled from Hershey (AHL).

Sgarbossa has been lighting up the AHL this season, scoring nine points (1G / 8A) in seven games with the Hershey Bears, earning himself a call-up. The 32-year-old, with 90 games of NHL experience, played 25 games with the Capitals last season, scoring seven points (4G / 3A).

Michael Sgarbossa
Rempe has been recalled fro Hartford (AHL).

Rempe had predominantly been a healthy scratch for the Rangers this season before being sent down to the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) last week. In two outings with the Rangers, the hard-hitting Rempe has yet to record a penalty minute and has five hits in 11:17 total time-on-ice.

Matt Rempe
McCabe has signed a five-year, $22.55 million contract extension ($4,510,000 AAV).

In his third season with the Maple Leafs, McCabe has been rewarded with a five-year, $22.55 million contract extension. The 31-year-old McCabe has been a defensive staple for the Maple Leafs since joining the club and has three points (0G / 3A), a +6 plus/minus, 17 blocks, and 19 hits in nine games this season.

Jake McCabe
Merzlikins is in the starter's crease at Columbus' morning skate.

Merzlikins has not played since October 15th and is winless in two outings this season, posting an ugly 3.68 GAA and .854 SV%, but will likely return to the crease on Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers. In his previous two seasons combined, Merzlikins has a horrid 3.77 GAA and .889 SV% in 71 appearances (20-35-10), and the start of his 2024-25 campaign has not been promising for a resurgence. The Blue Jackets enter action on Monday as +212 home underdogs against the Oilers.

Elvis Merzlikins
Georgiev will likely start Monday vs. the Blackhawks.

The Avalanche, riding a five-game winning streak, will likely turn to Georgiev between the pipes for the first time in 10 days. Georgiev backed up Justus Annunen for the last four games and will hope the rest helps him reset after a forgetful start to the 2024-25 season. In five games (1-3-0), Georgiev has an atrocious 4.99 GAA and .810 SV%. That said, Colorado enters the action on Monday as a sizeable -216 home favorite against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Alexandar Georgiev
Skinner will start on Monday in Columbus.

On the tail end of a back-to-back set, Skinner will return to the crease for the Oilers on Monday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. After allowing five goals on 13 shots (.615 SV%) in a 6-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets in their first game of the season, Skinner has allowed three or fewer goals in each of his last five outings, including a 27-save shutout on Friday in a 4-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Oilers enter the action on Monday as -241 road favorites against the Blue Jackets.
