The 27-year-old Capobianco has 73 games of NHL experience but has primarily been an AHL player. Last season with the Manitoba Moose (AHL), Capobianco had 54 points (12G / 42A) in 69 games.

The Red Wings' three-game winning streak was snapped on Saturday, and the team will turn to Talbot in the crease against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday for the tail end of their back-to-back. Talbot has been wildly inconsistent through three starts this season (2-1-0), including a 42-save shutout and allowing five goals on 19 shots (.737 SV%). After several forgetful seasons, the 29-year-old Drouin had a career-high 56 points (19G / 37A) in 79 games last season.

Colton exited Thursday's 5-1 win over the Utah Hockey Club with an upper-body injury after 11:07 time-on-ice. Colton managed a goal before his exit, his seventh in eight games to start the season. Despite not practicing on Saturday, he will return to the lineup on Sunday against the Ottawa Senators.
