Ericsson is one-half of the Red Wings top-pair so their younger defenseman will have to step up. They played very well against the Sharks last night, include Xavier Ouelett who made his NHL debut. Expect Danny DeKeyser to see an expanded role in Ericsson's absence.

Hiller was pulled after the first period on Sunday, he gave up three goals on 12 shots. Backup Frederik Anderson stopped all 24 shots he faced in the second and third. The Ducks came back and won so Hiller remains 4-0-0, and holds a 2.00 GAA and .937 SV% despite the rough outing. Tonight's matchup with Toronto, is not the best of matchups, but the Ducks have been on fire-you could do worse.

Harding's great start to the season continued on Satruday when he turned aside 21 of 22 shots, but was a tough-luck loser - 2-1 in a shootout. It is shocking that he is just 3-2-1, because he has posted a 1.11 GAA and .948 SV% in seven appearances. What more does he need to do for the Wild?
This is the first time that Sbisa has skated with the team since spraining his ankle in the preseason. He won't play tonight, and could end up in Norfolk on a conditioning assignment to get him up to speed.

Nichushkin was on everyone's sleeper list after a stellar preseason, but limited minutes and subpar line-mates have held him back to start the season. The move to the top line should definitely help the 18-year-old, especially the way Seguin and Benn have been playing (combined 19 points in eight games). Nichushkin is only owned in 5% of Yahoo! leagues, if he gets a chance to stay on this line, chances are he will produce.

This is a good sign that Lecavalier will indeed be ready to play on Thursday. Monitor his status following Thursday's morning skate, when he will officially be announced in or out.
