It appeared as if Reimer took a knee to the head, and with a history of concussions, that is not good. He was able to skate off under his own power, but went straight to the dressing room. Update to follow.

Reimer stopped 36 of 37 shots in a 4-1 win over the Wild on Tuesday. After Jonathan Bernier has a streak of four straight starts, Reimer showed that he can still be the number one guy in Toronto. He will get another chance tonight vs. Carolina.

Missiaen is a 6-foot-8 goalie who will serve as Henrik Lundqvist's backup.
Powe has one goal in four games with Hartford. He had no points in 34 games with the Rangers last season. Powe was likely called up before Chris Kreider, because the Rangers are in need of a penalty killer.

The Kings are much tougher opponents than the Panthers and the Islanders, so you might want to look at your other matchups before deploying Rinne tonight.

Quick was yanked from Tuesday's start after giving up three goals on 17 shots. His slow start to the 2013-14 continued and he has now won just three out of six starts while posting a 2.90 GAA and .896 SV%. He should be able to keep the puck out of the net against the Predators 24th ranked offence.

After giving Valeri Nichushkin the night off against Colorado Tuesday, Stars head coach Lindy Ruff has the 18-year-old rookie back on the ice Thursday against the Sharks at American Airlines Center. Ruff will move Nichushkin from the right wing to the left wing and play him with two veterans in Shawn Horcoff and Erik Cole. The line makes sense, in that Nichushkin will probably have to simplify his game on the left side and he’ll be supported by two veterans. In the first four games, he has wandered in his assignments and has just one shot on goal from the right side.

Ward allowed two goals 36 in a tough luck loss to the Blackhawks on Tuesday. He has another tough matchup against the Maple Leafs who are fourth in the NHL in scoring (3.71 Goals per game) and the second best power play (33.3%).
