Koivu continues to progress but is likely still a few games away from returning. The Wild captain scored nine goals and 33 points through 41 games before getting hurt.
In 26 career starts against the Avs, Backstrom has a 19-5-2-1 record with a 2.24 GAA, .924 SV% and three shutouts.
Jones moves back into the press box as he struggles offensively. The Guelph, Ontario native has only nine goals and 16 points through 43 games. Seven of those goals were scored in October/November.
O'Brien takes a turn in the press box for tonight's game. In what looks like one of his most productive seasons, the tough defender has a goal and 13 points through 48 games.
