Burish will miss tonight's game which was his expected ETA. The gritty winger has been sidelined since November 15th.

Last season, Brodeur went 1-3-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .904 SV% in four starts against the Rangers.
Center Patrik Elias and defenseman Henrik Tallinder are not on the ice for the Devils’ practice today at Prudential Center.
Doesn't sound like Tallinder will be available against the Rangers tomorrow. Expect either Matt Taormina or Alexander Urbom to fill in for him on the blue line.
A Devils’ spokesperson said Elias is ill today. No word yet on his availability for Tuesday’s game vs. the Rangers (the first meeting of the season between the Hudson River rivals).
Extra forward Tim Sestito filled in for Elias on the second line so this could just be a rest day for the Devils all-time leading scorer.
Vanek, easily Buffalo's most consistent player of late, took what was close to a knee-on-knee hit late in Friday's game against Toronto and appeared to struggle a couple of times in Pittsburgh too. We're going to have to wait until after practice to see if this is a "maintenance" day or if there's some issue.
Vanek left the ice briefly on Saturday but was able to return. Sounds like just a maintenance but stay tuned for a further update.

With the addition of Kyle Turris, Regin is now a third liner. The Danish center scored two goals and four points in nine games with the team.
Milan Michalek is the only injured player not on the ice. #Sens
The Sens will continue to play it safe with their scoring winger. While he could get back into the lineup as soon as tomorrow, it sounds like he will need a few more days off.

Foligno-Turris-Condra
Turris will make his Sens debut on the second line. The former 3rd overall pick is expected to get much more playing time while in Ottawa and may be worth a look in deeper leagues.
Fourth-line forward Jay Beagle, who has been out with a concussion since October, has been cleared for full participation in practice, including contact drills, according to a team spokesman.
Beagle practiced with the fourth line this morning and could draw back into the lineup within the upcoming weeks.

Semin was reunited with the top line over the past week and produced a goal and an assist over four games with a minus-4 rating. Hard to imagine him playing better with less skilled linemates.

Johansson moves up to the top line and could start tomorrow's game there. The sophomore has six goals and 16 points over 30 games but has just three assists this month.

On Sunday night, Predators defenseman Jonathon Blum posted: “See y’all in Nashville tomorrow!” This would indicate that Blum has been recalled by the Predators, which he confirmed to us minutes later via phone.
Blum scored two goals in as many games while in the AHL, regaining his scoring touch. Expect him to slot back into the lineup shortly.
The veteran was not on the bench to start the second and the team announced Seabrook would not return with an "upper-body" injury. Seabrook has missed time on three separate occasions during his Hawks career with concussions.
Bad news for the Blackhawks, who were just getting used to their minute-eating defenseman staying in the lineup. Seabrook could be out with a concussion which would keep him out for at least a week.
#FlaPanthers Sean Bergenheim has the Cats' only goal but is unlikely to return tonight with a lower-body injury.
Bergenheim now has three goals in two games. He is expected to miss some playing time with a groin injury so expect a further update on his status.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
