Salak was recalled from Rockford to backup either Corey Crawford or Ray Emery in tomorrow's game.

Sounds like Carter will be a game-time decision. Stay tuned for a further update.

In his only game played Erat was held without a point, registering a minus-2 rating. Last season, Erat scored 17 goals and 50 points playing primarily on the top two lines. As an often injured forward, fantasy hockey owners need to temper their expectations.

Fisher skating on a line indicates he could be healthy for tomorrow's home opener against the Coyotes. Last season, he scored five goals and 12 points through 27 games with the Preds before breaking out in the playoffs. He likely starts on a bottom line as he eases back into the lineup.

Bergfors has been scratched for the team's initial games but likely draws in as the team looks for a bit more offense. Over his brief NHL career, the former 23rd overall pick has shown the ability to score goals which is certainly valuable in fantasy hockey circles. Keep an eye on where he lands in the lineup as he could have similar value to Sergei Kostitsyn of last season.
McBain draws in for his first game of the season. Last season he scored seven goals and 30 points over 76 games. Look for him to be at full strength following a two-game benching.

Gill was not at practice for family reasons. His presence in the lineup is certainly a deterrent for opposing forwards but he directly offers no fantasy hockey value.
Connolly is listed as day-to-day and but probably is held out this weekend. Connolly scored 13 goals and 42 points last season as injuries limited him to 68 games. Tyler Bozak will continue to take his place in the interim as the top line center.
Moore was held out of yesterday's practice due to an illness. Through his first three games, the third line center already has a goal and an assist. As a vital member of the team's checking lines, his absence yesterday was likely precautionary.

Through the team's first three games, the dynamic forward has three assists. Look for him to get the first crack at top line duty with the opportunity to stick there.

Knuble adds a 'garbage-goal' scorer to the second line, giving it a bit more jam. Through his first two games he was held without a point so coach Bruce Boudreau likely wants to mix things up.
Over eight career starts against the Avs, Mason holds a 2-5-1 record with a 3.93 GAA and .865 SV%.

The former fourth overall pick is currently on the 'Tyler Seguin' track, playing limited minutes if he's even in the lineup. In his NHL debut he was held without a point while playing 08:46. He could replace the injured Jeff Carter in the lineup.

Tough news for the winless Blue Jackets. Through his first three games, Carter has three assists. Stay tuned for a further update on his status.

Ponikarovsky will skate on the team's second scoring line alongside Jussi Jokinen and Tuomo Ruutu. In the team's most recent game Poni added one of their two goals which indicates coach Paul Maurice wants more offense. Expect him to move between the top three lines over the season.
LaRose will skate for the second consecutive game on the top line. In the team's most recent game -- a 4-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils -- the undrafted winger banged in one of their two goals. Look for him to move around the lineup as the season progresses.
With Justin Faulk working with Derek Joslin, he could be a healthy scratch. Through his first three games, the young defenseman was held without a point and with a minus-6 rating. His demotion could pave the way for Jamie McBain or Ryan Murphy to enter the lineup.

Over 16 career appearances against the Canucks, Bryzgalov holds a 7-7-0-2 record with a 2.49 GAA, .918 SV% and one shutout.
