The 24-year-old goaltender was acquired in a trade earlier last season with Vancouver for Jack Studnicka and has excelled with Providence (AHL) in 2023-24 with his 17-8-0 record, 2.52 GAA And .917 SV%.
Hryckowian's senior season at Northeastern University (AHL) came to an end recently and he has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Dallas which starts during the 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old undrafted centre turned heads this season after posting an incredibly impressive 13 goals, 43 points, and 24 PIMs in 32 games with Northeastern prior to his signing.
The Golden Knights will turn to Thompson for the second time in the last three games, replacing an Adin Hill that has struggled lately. Thompson has only played once in the last seven games, but was terrific in that solo outing, saving 20 of 21 shots (.952 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on March 17th. The Golden Knights will face off against a Seattle Kraken club they defeated 5-4 less than two weeks ago.

The 31-year-old Bjugstad is enjoying a productive season with the Coyotes, tallying 37 points (17G / 20A), 143 shots, and 106 hits in 67 games.
