The Capitals have recalled Devante Smith-Pelly from Hershey (AHL).
Game 5 will be Smith-Pelly’s first NHL games since February 17th. Smith-Pelly went to the AHL after that game and had six goals and eight assists (14 points) in 20 games with Hershey. Smith-Pelly was effective during the Capitals’ Stanley Cup run a year ago, scoring seven goals with one assist (eight points) in 24 postseason games.

The Hurricanes have recalled Aleksi Saarela from Charlotte (AHL).
Jordan Martinook was hurt in Game 4 so Saarela has been recalled and could make his NHL debut in Game 5. Saarela was a third-round pick of the Rangers in 2015 and has registered 30 goals and 24 goals (54 points) in 69 AHL games this season.
The Hurricanes have recalled Patrick Brown from Charlotte (AHL).

The Blue Jackets have recalled Zac Dalpe from Cleveland (AHL).
Despite having a number of reserve forwards already in Columbus, it looks like Dalpe could draw into the lineup in Game 4. Dalpe would replace Brandon Dubinsky, who was banged up in Game 3. Dalpe had a strong season at the AHL level, scoring 33 goals with 22 assists (55 points) in 55 games.
Lindgren has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) and will play on Friday.
The Senators reassigned Wolanin to Belleville (AHL).

The Ducks reassigned Welinski to San Diego (AHL).
The Maple Leafs have recalled Michael Hutchinson from Toronto (AHL).
Hutchinson has performed well for the Marlies, going 14-5-1 with a 2.70 GAA and .910 SV% in 23 games. During a brief stint with the Maple Leafs earlier in the year, Hutchinson was 2-3-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .914 SV% in five games. It looks like Hutchinson is simply added insurance as the Leafs head into the playoffs, but don’t be surprised if he starts the season finale after Garret Sparks’ struggles continued on Tuesday.

The Coyotes have recalled Adin Hill from Tucson (AHL).
Darcy Kuemper was forced to leave Tuesday’s game after taking a stick in the face vs. the Kings, so Hill comes back up in case Kuemper isn’t available for Thursday’s game. Hill has gone 15-12-2 with a 2.46 GAA and .911 SV% in 32 AHL games this season.
The Golden Knights have reassigned Maxime Lagace to Chicago (AHL).
Returning Lagace to Chicago suggests that Marc-Andre Fleury will be back on Thursday. The 26-year-old goes back to the AHL where he is 16-8-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .917 SV% in 29 games.
The Bruins have recalled Zach Senyshyn from Providence (AHL).
Senyshyn was a first round pick in 2015 and could make his NHL debut this week if the Bruins elect to give some players some rest before the playoffs. Senyshyn has 14 goals and 10 assists (24 points) in 62 games with Providence this season.

The Bruins have recalled Trent Frederic from Providence (AHL).
Frederic, 21, has not recorded a point in 13 games with the Bruins this season but as 11 goals and 11 assists (22 points) in 51 AHL contests.

The Flames have recalled Dillon Dube from Stockton (AHL).
The Flames are resting players as they lead up to the playoffs, so Dube will likely be in the lineup on Wednesday. The former second-round pick has 15 goals and 24 assists (39 points) in 37 games with Stockton this season.
Wolanin has been recalled from Belleville (AHL) and is expected to play in New York.
Wolanin was assigned to the AHL on Tuesday to help Belleville but has been called up because Ben Harpur is sick and will not play on Wednesday. Wolanin has three assists in his last five games and 12 points (4G /8A) in 28 games this year.

The Blackhawks have recalled Dennis Gilbert from Rockford (AHL).
Gilbert was a third-round pick in 2015 and has 14 points (5G / 9A) in 59 games during his first pro season with Rockford. Gilbert could make his NHL debut as the season winds down.
The Blue Jackets have assigned Adam Clendening to Cleveland (AHL).
Clendening has four goals and 31 assists (35 points) in 42 games with Cleveland this season. His return to the AHL suggests that Adam McQuaid will be back on Saturday.
The Devils have recalled Brett Seney from Binghamton (AHL).
Seney has spent most of the campaign with the Devils, where he has 13 points (5G / 8A) in 50 games this season. During his time in the AHL, Seney has 18 points (2G / 16A) in 23 games.

The Predators have assigned Zac Rinaldo to Milwaukee (AHL) on a long-term injury loan.
Rinaldo has been out since January 1st and will go to Milwaukee to get back up to game speed. Rinaldo will likely return to the Predators for the playoffs but likely won’t be an integral part of their lineup.
The Senators have assigned Christian Wolanin to Belleville (AHL).
Wolanin has split his 2018-19 campaign between the NHL and AHL but it looks like he will finish the year out in Belleville. Wolanin has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 28 NHL games and 26 points (6G / 20A) in 35 AHL games. Andreas Englund will replace him on the roster.
