The Blues have assigned Chris Thorburn to San Antonio (AHL).
Thorburn played just 1:52 TOI in his season debut in Chicago on Saturday. Thorburn doesn’t bring a lot to the Blues lineup, so he heads back to San Antonio and Zach Sanford has been called-up.
The Blues have recalled Zach Sanford from San Antonio (AHL).
Sanford has started the AHL season with two goals in four games. After being recalled for Chris Thorburn, Sanford could make his season debut in Montreal on Wednesday. The 23-year-old had five points (2G / 3A) in 13 games with St. Louis in 2016-17.
The Sharks have reassigned Dylan Gambrell to San Jose (AHL).
Gambrell had two goals and one assist in his season debut with the Barracuda before being called-up following Joe Thornton’s move to IR. With the Sharks off until Thursday, Gambrell could just head down to get some AHL games and return before their meeting with the Sabres.
The Maple Leafs have recalled Eamon McAdam from Newfoundland (ECHL).
McAdam might be coming up to backup Garret Sparks tonight vs. the Kings. Frederik Andersen was on the ice for the morning skate, but this call-up suggests that he won’t be available to backup. McAdam was 13-10-2 with a 2.84 GAA and .910 SV% in 29 ECHL games last season.
The Canucks have recalled Adam Gaudette from Utica (AHL).
Gaudette played five games with the Canucks last season after turning pro following his Junior year at Northeastern University. The 2015 fifth round pick led Northeastern with 60 points (30G / 30A) in 38 games and has had a nice start to his AHL career, amassing four points (2G / 2A) in four games. The 22-year-old will likely make his season debut in Pittsburgh on Tuesday with Vancouver losing two centres (Elias Pettersson and Jay Beagle) in Florida on Saturday.
The Penguins have recalled Derek Grant from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).
Grant spent all of last season with the Ducks, recording 12 goals and 12 assists (24 points) in 66 games. So far this season he has one goal in one AHL game but could draw into the Penguins lineup on Tuesday.
The Penguins have sent Tristan Jarry to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).
Jarry backed up Casey DeSmith last week, but Matt Murray returned to the bench on Saturday so there’s no reason for the Penguins to carry three goaltenders. The 23-year-old netminder has yet to make an appearance this season, but was 9-5-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .901 SV% in 16 AHL games last year.
Blandisi has been recalled from the AHL and is expected to play on Sunday.
The Golden Knights sent Jake Bischoff to Chicago (AHL).

Dries did not record a point in three games with the Avalanche. He returns to the AHL, where he had 30 points (19G / 11A) in 70 games with the Texas Stars last season.
The Canadiens have recalled Charlie Lindgren from Laval (AHL).
Lindgren has gone 2-1-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .875 SV% in three games with the Rockets so far this season. With Carey Price out with the flu, Lindgren is expected to backup Antti Niemi vs. the Penguins.
Dauphin has cleared waivers and been reassigned to Tucson (AHL).
Dauphin has not appeared in an NHL games this season, but has one goal and an assist in his only AHL contest. He will likely spend most of the season in the AHL, but will be one of the first forwards to be called-up.
The Senators have recalled Nick Paul from Belleville (AHL).
Paul, 23, had one goal in 11 games with the Senators last season. The former fourth round pick spent most of the season with Belleville, where he had 14 goals and 13 assists (27 points) in 54 games. Paul has been called-up to take up a roster spot with Ryan Dzingel (lower-body) and Alex Formenton (concussion) landing on IR.

The Islanders have sent Tanner Fritz to Bridgeport (AHL).
The Ducks sent Pontus Aberg to San Diego (AHL) after he cleared waivers.
Aberg played 13:47 TOI and was a minus-1 with two PIMS in his Ducks debut but was placed on waivers shortly after. The former second-round pick has had a hard time sticking around in the NHL, so he returns to the AHL where he has 35 goals and 23 assists (58 points) in his last 60 games.
The Coyotes have sent Barrett Hayton to Sault Ste. Marie (OHL).
Hayton, 18, was the No.5 overall pick in this summer’s draft and made the Coyotes out of training camp but did not appear in either of their first two games. Hayton returns to the OHL, where he had 21 goals and 39 assists (60 points) in 63 games with the Greyhounds.

Lammikko, 22, was a third round pick (No.65 overall) in 2014 and has spent the last two seasons with the Thunderbirds. Lammikko has just 14 goals and 25 assists (39 points) in 108 career AHL games. He is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday with Derek MacKenzie dealing with an upper-body injury.
The Avalanche recalled Vladislav Kamenev from Colorado (AHL).
Kamenev did not make the Avalanche out of training camp and headed to the Eagles (AHL) to start the season. The 22-year-old had one assist in two games but has been recalled with Gabriel Landeskog banged up.
The Blues reassigned Chris Butler to San Antonio (AHL).
Butler scored a goal in Saturday’s game against the Blackhawks, but will return to San Antonio. The 31-year-old defenseman had eight goals and 21 assists (29 points) in 61 games with the Rampage as season ago.
