The Maple Leafs are expected to send Nikita Soshnikov to Toronto (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Soshnikov has not played since November 24th and Mike Babcock anticipates that he will go to the AHL for a conditioning stint before he returns to the Maple Leafs lineup. This is probably the right call considering the 24-year-old has only appeared in three NHL games this season.
