The media storm for the stars of USA Hockey continues.

On Monday night, U.S. women’s hockey captain Hilary Knight, along with Jack and Quinn Hughes of the U.S. men’s team, appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon.

The three reminisced about their accomplishments at the 2026 Winter Olympics last month, with both the men’s and women’s teams beating Canada to win gold.

While Hilary Knight set the record for most goals and points by an American woman in women’s Olympic hockey, Jack Hughes was the hero for the men’s team, scoring the overtime winner in the final game in Milan.

The story leading up to Hughes’ winner has become legendary. Late in the third period, Jack was clipped by a high stick from Canada forward Sam Bennett. The incident led to his teeth being chipped, and his new look became iconic in the days after the Winter Games.

Jack explained what his brother’s reaction was when he saw his brother’s face.

“[Quinn] was the first guy closest to me,” Jack explained. “I remember him coming up to me at the TV timeout, and he was like, ‘It’s not that bad, it’s only chipped.’ … I’m more of just like, you don’t want to spend time in the dentist chair, obviously, so that’s the biggest issue.”

“So you haven’t had time to get anything prepared,” Fallon responded. “I feel like this might be your thing.”

“I can promise you this won’t be my thing,” Jack responded. “Since we’ve been back in the U.S., we feel the love, so much support. When people are coming up, like, for a picture, they’ll be like, ‘Smile.'”

Knight made headlines for also getting engaged to her longtime girlfriend, speed skater Brittany Bowe, the day before the Olympics. She joked that she was nervous for asking for Brittany’s hand in marriage.

“I like high-pressure situations,” Knight explained. “I was really nervous during the Olympics, and logistically it just made sense with her schedule and my schedule, and I just went full send…Half-kneel, shaking. This is as far as I can go. ‘Which way does the box open?'”

The trio was also on NBC’s Saturday Night Live earlier this weekend, alongside fellow American women’s defender Megan Keller, showing that hockey south of the border is alive and well after such an exciting Winter Games.
