The 24-year-old Czech goalie posted a sublime 1.71 GAA and .937 SV% in 25 games (17-6-0) last season with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL), ultimately leading the organization to trade goalie Sebastian Cossa. That said, Postava will be put to the test in his first career start against the high-flying offence of the Edmonton Oilers. Detroit enters the action as +157 road underdogs.

The 23-year-old netminder was 23-18-0 with a. 2.39 GAA and .920 SV% in 42 games during the regular season and 10-7-0 with a 1.97 GAA and .940 SV% in the playoffs with Brno Kometa. Postava will likely report to Grand Rapids (AHL) to begin the 2025-26 season.
