Weegar suffered a concussion in Montreal on Tuesday on a hit that resulted in Paul Byron getting suspended for three games. Josh Brown is expected to make his NHL debut in Weegar’s place on Friday.
Bishop (lower-body) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Bishop has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but “may be ready to go tomorrow” after practicing Thursday. Even if he plays, Bishop has just three points (1G / 2A) in 20 games while averaging just 9:27 TOI/gm, so he has no fantasy value.
Bishop left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.
Bishop left the game in Philadelphia after playing just 2:15 TOI and is questionable for Friday’s game against the Blue Jackets. Greg McKegg was recalled from Charlotte (AHL) and would play if Bishop can’t go.

Bean brings some more offence to an already talented blue line in Carolina and carries some interesting punt value in daily formats.
Coleman (undisclosed) is on the ice for warmups; is expected to play in Florida.
Coleman (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Coleman is questionable after playing on Sunday, so head coach John Hynes listed him as a game-time decision in Florida. With Marcus Johansson out with a lower-body injury, Blake Coleman could be elevated to the second line.
