


Fast has missed the last seven games with a shoulder injury, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Panthers. Fast has just 20 points (5G / 15A) in 59 games this season.

Fast is believed to have separated his shoulder Tuesday vs. the Capitals. The injury would sideline Fast indefinitely and move Matt Puempel back into the Rangers’ lineup on Thursday.

Gostisbehere served as a healthy scratch in the last three games, but will draw back into the lineup tonight after the Flyers were shutout in two straight games. Gostisbehere had a sensational rookie campaign, but has had some struggles in 2016-17. The man known as the “Ghost Bear” has four goals and 17 assists (21 points) in 48 games this season.


Carrier was in the lineup for the last three games, but will come out tonight because of a knee injury. Carrier is expected to miss “a bit” of time, so the Sabres have recalled Justin Bailey from Rochester (AHL). Consider Carrier as day-to-day.

Deslauriers sat for the last two games, but will draw into the lineup for Cal O’Reilly versus the Rangers. Deslauriers has no points in 23 games this season.

Gostisbehere has had a difficult season, recording 21 points (4G / 17A) in 48 games this season, which has him well off of last year’s pace. Gostisbehere will be scratched and replaced by Nick Schultz.

Fast has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but will replace Oscar Lindberg in the lineup on Tuesday. Fast has three goals and 12 assists (15 points) in 45 games this season.

Fast suffered an injury Tuesday vs. the Stars and will miss at least one week with an upper-body injury. Expect Oscar Lindberg to draw into the lineup for Fast on Thursday.


Martinook left last night’s game in Anaheim with an upper-body injury and is questionable for tonight’s game. The Coyotes recalled Laurent Dauphin from Tucson (AHL), which is not a great sign for Martinook’s availability.

Hall missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but will be back in the lineup vs. the Bruins. Hall has an assist in three straight games and has picked up eight goals and 15 assists (23 points) in 27 games this season. Expect him to skate with Adam Henrique and P.A. Parenteau.

Carrier played just 1:23 TOI before retiring to the dressing room following a fight with Adam McQuaid. The Sabres have recalled Justin Bailey this morning, which suggests that Carrier will not be available for Saturday’s game vs. the Bruins.

Hall is dealing with a lower-body injury, that is not related to his previous knee injury. Hall is listed as day-to-day, so monitor his status prior to Saturday’s game vs. the Capitals.

Staal has missed the last seven games, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Canucks. Staal will centre the Hurricanes’ top line with Joakim Nordstrom on the left side and Elias Lindholm on the right. Staal has nine points (5G / 4A) in 21 games this season.

Gostisbehere missed Sunday’s game with a swollen hand, but said he is good-to-go Wednesday in Colorado. Gostisbehere has registered an assist in four straight games and has four goals and 12 assists (16 points) in 29 games this season.

Staal has missed the last seven games with a concussion, but head coach Bill Peters said that he will play on Tuesday as long as the doctors clear him to do so. Monitor Staal’s status during the Hurricanes’ morning skate—he has nine points (5G / 4A) in 21 games this season.
