With Mason Marchment (upper body) placed on Injured Reserve, Columbus has recalled Pyyhtia from the Cleveland Monsters (AHL). The 24-year-old Pyyhtia has 22 points (7G / 15A) in 23 games with Cleveland this season.

The Blue Jackets enter the action on Tuesday as -127 road favorites against a Sharks team whose three-game winning streak was snapped on Saturday in a 7-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Blue Jackets enter Wednesday's contest as -123 home favorites against a struggling New Jersey Devils team that was defeated 4-0 by the Toronto Maple Leafs yesterday.
Monahan was a last minute scratch on Monday after taking full part in warmups. Zach Aston-Reese will draw into the lineup in his place.

Greaves has been the go-to netminder for the Blue Jackets over the past several weeks, and it appears that trend will not change after returning from the Holiday Break. The 24-year-old Greaves has been solid in his first full-time NHL season, posting a 2.69 GAA and .906 SV% in 23 games (9-9-5). He was excellent in his previous game, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
