Seguin has yet to play this season but is nearing his debut and could come Monday in Florida. When Seguin does play, he will likely centre the second line with Jamie Benn and Denis Gurianov on his wings. Seguin had 17 goals and 33 assists (50 points) in 69 games last year.

Rantanen has missed the last four games while in the COVID-19 protocol but will play Friday vs. the Sharks. The Avalanche top line had some struggles without Rantanen, so his return will provide a massive boost to a team that has lost three in a row.

Lind was the No.33 overall pick in 2017 and is set to make his NHL debut on Thursday. The 22-year-old winger has scored five goals with three assists (eight points) in eight games with Utica (AHL) this season.

Heiskanen was scratched from the lineup on Tuesday but could play Thursday in Detroit. Heiskanen is officially listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status as the Stars hit the ice for warmups at 7:00 PM ET.

Hintz sat out of the second half of the Stars' back-to-back on Tuesday but could play Thursday in Detroit. Hintz has sat out of most of the back-to-backs this season so there's a good chance he'll be back in the lineup tonight. Hintz is on an absolute heater right now, scoring 10 goals with 17 assists (27 points) in his last 19 games.

The Avalanche return to action on Thursday but Rantanen did not travel to St. Louis to start the trip. Head coach Jared Bednar said that he could play next Wednesday in Vegas, so it looks like he'll miss all three games in St. Louis. In addition to Rantanen, the Avalanche will be without Joonas Donskoi and Philipp Grubauer due to COVID-19 protocols.
