Campbell will start Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Campbell allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Kings 4-3 win over the Rangers on Sunday. With Jonathan Quick on LTIR, Campbell is expected to start the majority of the Kings games going forward. The 26-year-old has gone 3-4-0 with a 2.72 GAA and .912 SV% in seven starts and one relief appearance this season.

Holl will make his season debut on Thursday.

Holl has been a healthy scratch for all 12 of the Maple Leafs games so far this season, but will play in his third career NHL game tonight. The 26-year-old defenseman had 28 points (7G / 21A) with the Marlies last season and scored a goal in both games he played with the Maple Leafs. Don’t expect him to score in every game, but Holl does have some offensive upside and could be worth a punt in DFS if you are desperate to save some salary.

Justin Holl
Kane (illness) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Kane missed the Blackhawks morning skate with an illness and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game in Vancouver. Kane has had a great start to the season, scoring 11 goals with seven assists (18 points) in 12 games this season. David Kampf or Andreas Martinsen would replace Kane if he can’t play.

Patrick Kane
The Avalanche recalled Sheldon Dries from Colorado (AHL).

Dries did not pick up a point in four games with the Avalanche earlier in the season, but has two points (1G / 1A) in five AHL games with the Eagles. The 24-year-old will likely play on the upcoming two-game road-trip because the Avalanche are without Tyson Jost, J.T. Compher and Sven Andrighetto.

Sheldon Dries
Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Talbot allowed a single goal on 32 shots in the Oilers 2-1 overtime win in Chicago on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while stopping 62 of 64 shots (.969 SV%). He draws a strong matchup against a Wild team on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Talbot enters Tuesday at 2-1-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .909 SV% on home-ice.

Cam Talbot
Mrazek will start Friday vs. the Sharks.

Mrazek allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Hurricanes 3-1 win in Detroit on Monday. In his first five starts with the Hurricanes, Mrazek has gone 2-2-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .888 SV%. Tonight he faces a Sharks team that is second in the NHL in shots per game (38.1) and tied for ninth in goals per game (3.44).

Campbell leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Campbell stopped two of three shots after replacing Jonathan Quick last Thursday. Quick has struggled since returning from injury, so Campbell will get another start tonight in Minnesota. While Quick was out, Campbell went 2-3-0 with a 2.69 GAA, .922 SV% and one shutout. The Wild come into Thursday averaging just 2.75 goals for per game (t-22nd in the NHL).

Talbot will start Thursday vs. the Capitals.

Talbot allowed six goals on 31 shots in the Oilers overtime loss to the Penguins on Tuesday. Talbot followed up a three-game winning streak with two straight losses, so he comes into Thursday at 3-3-1 with a 3.15 GAA and .891 SV% on the season. Tonight he meets a Capitals team that is 4-2-2 with the most goals for per game (4.25) through their first eight games.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Penguins.

Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Oilers loss to the Predators on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Talbot, who will make his seventh start of the season tonight vs. the Penguins. The Penguins are tied for 11th in the NHL in scoring (3.33 GF/PG) in their first six games of the season.

Cam Talbot
Mrazek will start Monday in Detroit.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Tampa Bay last Tuesday. Mrazek’s Hurricanes career has gotten off to a rocky start, posting a 3.07 GAA and .874 SV% in four starts. Tonight he will face his former team in Detroit. Mrazek is a risky option on most nights, but the Red Wings are averaging just 2.38 GF/PG right now and he should be motivated to get the best of them.
