Gibson will make his fourth straight start for the Ducks.

Gibson allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Ducks loss to the Lightning on Wednesday. He has allowed a combined nine goals on 60 shots (.850 SV%) in his last two starts. In four starts on the road this season, Gibson has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA and .925 SV%.

Gibson gave up five goals on 28 shots in the Ducks 5-3 loss to the Capitals on Sunday. Despite the rough outing, Frederik Andersen is not quite ready, so Gibson will make his third consecutive start. He will take on a Lightning team who has gone 3-3-2 while averaging 3.13 goals per game in February.

Talbot gave up five goals on 43 shots in the Rangers 6-5 win over the Islanders on Monday. Since Henrik Lundqvist went down, Talbot has gone 5-1-1 but he can thank an offence who has averaged 4.14 goals over that span. His 3.01 GAA and .900 SV% are not pretty numbers, but with the offence support he is getting, he is a good candidate to get his 10th win of the season tonight vs. Vancouver.

Talbot allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Rangers win in Colorado on Thursday. After losing two in a row, he has won back-to-back despite allowing seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). He has a nice matchup tonight in Arizona—the Coyotes are on the tail-end of a back-to-back and have lost four of five.

In his first start vs. the Leafs, he allowed five goals on 31 shots in a 5-4 loss—however the Maple Leafs aren’t playing like the same team that they were in November.

Talbot allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Rangers win over the Bruins on Wednesday. With Henrik Lundqvist sidelined for the next three weeks, Talbot becomes the starter by default and will go tonight in Nashville. He comes into play with a 5-4-1 record, 2.14 GAA and .924 SV% on the year.
