The Blackhawks have reassigned Tyler Motte to Rockford (AHL).

Motte, 21, has scored four goals with three assists in 32 games with the Blackhawks this season. Motte started the year with the Blackhawks, so he heads to Rockford for the first time this season. He had five points (2G / 3A) in five AHL games a season ago.

The Jets have recalled Andrew Copp from Manitoba (AHL).

Copp was sent down on Wednesday but did not get into a game with the Moose. With Marko Dano getting hurt last night and being placed on IR this afternoon, Copp is back with the Jets, where he has four goals and three assists (seven points) in 25 games this season.

Talbot will start Thursday vs. the Kings.

Talbot allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Oilers’ loss in San Jose last Friday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Talbot, who will start for the 33rd time this season. He is 17-10-5 with a 2.52 GAA and .917 SV% on the season. He has had a strong fantasy No.2 season and should make for a solid start tonight vs. the Kings.

Mrazek will start Tuesday vs. the Sabres.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 15 shots after replacing Jimmy Howard in the Red Wings’ loss in Tampa Bay last Tuesday. Jared Coreau started the final game before the break, but it will be Mrazek when they take on the Sabres tonight. The 24-year-old has gone 3-2-1 with a 3.42 GAA and .885 SV% in five December starts.

Talbot allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Oilers’ win in Arizona on Wednesday. Talbot has won three consecutive starts while posting a 1.92 GAA and .938 SV%. The 29-year-old netminder has gone 9-3-4 with a 2.52 GAA and .917 SV% on the road this season and will be in tough vs. the Sharks tonight.

Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Oilers’ win in St. Louis on Monday. Talbot has won his last two starts and three of his last four while posting a 2.20 GAA and .926 SV%. Talbot has had a strong season so far, but has yet to beat the Coyotes. In their first two meetings, Talbot has gone 0-1-1 with a 1.94 GAA and .938 SV% vs. Arizona.

Talbot turned aside 31 of 33 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Lightning on Saturday. Talbot has gone 4-1-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .916 SV% in seven December starts and will make his second start of the season vs. St. Louis. In their first meeting, Talbot stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 3-1 victory.

Talbot has gone 3-1-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .912 SV% in six starts this month and is 7-7-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .917 SV% on home-ice this season. He will take on a Lightning team that has lost eight of their last 10 games.

Mrazek was pulled after he allowed three goals on 17 shots in the Red Wings’ loss to the Blue Jackets last Friday. Jimmy Howard started the last three games, but Mrazek will start tonight vs. the Ducks. The 24-year-old has gone 4-4-2 with a 2.87 GAA and .902 SV% at Joe Louis Arena this season. The Ducks come in having won four of five.

Talbot allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Jets on Sunday. Talbot has won three of his last five starts despite allowing a combined 13 goals on 151 shots (.914 SV%). He’ll be in tough tonight against the Blue Jackets. Columbus comes in riding a six-game winning streak and have averaged 4.00 goals per game over that stretch.

Mrazek’s game is improving, but he will be in tough tonight against Blue Jackets team that has won five of their last six games.

Talbot allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Oilers’ loss in Buffalo on Tuesday. Jonas Gustavssson started last night, so Talbot will tart tonight in Minnesota. The 29-year-old has gone 7-3-3 with a 2.66 GAA and .912 SV% in 13 starts on the road so far this season. Tonight he faces a Minnesota team that has gone 7-3-0 on home-ice.

Mrazek is starting to look more like the goalie we saw last year, but tonight he faces a hot Jets team that has won four of their last five.

Talbot allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Oilers’ overtime win over the Ducks on Saturday. Jonas Gustavsson started on Sunday, so it’s no surprise to see Talbot go tonight in Buffalo. Talbot has allowed a combined five goals on 58 shots (.914 SV%) to earn wins in his last two starts and he is a great option tonight vs. a Sabres team that played last night.
