Talbot will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Talbot allowed two goals on 44 shots in the Oilers’ shootout loss to Nashville on Friday night. Laurent Brossoit started on Saturday, so Talbot will be back between the pipes tonight in Anaheim. The 29-year-old has gone 1–1-0 with a 2.92 GAA and .900 SV% in two starts against the Ducks this season.

The Red Wings have two huge games vs. the Bruins and the Maple Leafs prior to the All-Star break, but they’ll be without Larkin. Larkin has had a tough season, posting just 12 goals and six assists (18 points) in 47 games this season and should be replaced by either Steve Ott, who is on IR, or Drew Miller, should he clear waivers.

Tonight he will take on a Predators team that has won four of their last five while averaging just 2.20 goals per game.

Mrazek has struggled this season, but Wednesday’s performance may have been just what he needed to turn things around. In his first start vs. the Sabres, Mrazek allowed four goals on 22 shots in a 4-3 loss.

Mrazek has struggled this season, but Wednesday’s performance may have been just what he needed to turn things around. Tonight he will make his fourth start vs. the Coyotes—he is 1-1-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .940 SV% in the first three meetings.

Talbot allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Oilers’ loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. Talbot has gone 2-2-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .899 SV% in January and one of those wins game in New Jersey last Saturday. He’ll face the Devils again tonight, he stopped 19 of 20 shots in a 2-1 OT win one the weekend.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 43 shots in the Red Wings’ overtime loss in Tuesday. Mrazek has lost five straight games while allowing a combined 16 goals on 124 shots (.871 SV%). In his first start vs. the Stars this season, Mrazek turned aside 34 of 35 shots in a 4-1 win back in late November.
