The Sabres have quite a few players in COVID-19 protocol and Bryson is the latest to be added. With Bryson out, the Sabres have added Casey Fitzgerald and Ethan Prow to the active roster and both are expected to play on Wednesday.
The Kraken added Mason Appleton to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday (Dec.27).
The Kraken added three players to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday and Monday but they are hopeful they will get a couple of bodies back ahead of Wednesday's game vs. the Flyers.
The Canadiens added Ben Chiarot to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday.
The Canadiens' COVID-19 list grew to nine players, one day ahead of Tuesday's game in Tampa. With Chiarot out, look for Sami Niku to draw back onto Montreal's blueline on Tuesday.
The Red Wings added Lucas Raymond to COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.
Detroit added two more players to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday but removed three on Monday. With Raymond out until at least the middle of next week, look for Robby Fabbri to move up to the top line on Wednesday.
Lagesson has been added to the COVID-19 protocol list.
The Oilers have already been shut down through the Christmas break, so we'll see when they resume play next week. Lagesson will likely be out until at least next Thursday.

Faulk has missed the last six games while in COVID-19 protocol but is set to return to the lineup on Tuesday. Brayden Schenn was moved to IR to open up a roster spot for Faulk to be activated. Faulk has enjoyed a strong start to the season, scoring four goals with six assists (10 points) in 22 games.
Gibson suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday and is not expected to be available on Sunday.

The Blue Jackets have sent Daniil Tarasov to Cleveland (AHL).
Tarasov went 0-2-0 while allowing just five goals on 78 shots (.936 SV%) in his first two career NHL games. The 22-year-old returns to the AHL with Joonas Korpisalo (illness) activated from IR. Tarasov is 5-2-2 with a 2.96 GAA and .897 SV% in nine AHL games this season.
