Shine is expected to draw back into Detroit's lineup on Thursday vs. Ottawa.

Shine hasn't played since March 14th but will likely re-enter the lineup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. The 31-year-old forward has played eight games with the Red Wings this season, scoring one point (0G / 1A) and averaging 8:42 time-on-ice.

Gibson will start vs. Boston on Wednesday.

The Ducks are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and will turn to Gibson between the pipes on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins. The 31-year-old Gibson was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 33 of 34 shots (.971 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators. He has a 2.75 GAA and .912 SV% in 27 appearances this season (10-10-2). The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as -126 home favorites against a Bruins club that outscored 30-11 during a six-game losing skid.

John Gibson
Cossa was recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL) on an emergency basis on Tuesday.

Cossa's recall suggests one of Cam Talbot or Alex Lyon will be unavailable for Tuesday's game in Colorado, as Petr Mrazek was already announced out with an undisclosed injury. The 15th-overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, has performed well at the AHL level this season, registering a 19-11-5 record and a .913 SV%.

Sebastian Cossa
Soderblom (undisclosed) is still day-to-day but will be travelling on Detroit's upcoming road trip.

Soderblom showed no signs of an injury in the Red Wings' previous game, playing 13:57 time-on-ice, but will be sidelined day-to-day with an undisclosed ailment. The 23-year-old Soderblom is averaging 13:13 time-on-ice and has nine points (3G / 6A) in 22 games this season.

Gustafsson (undisclosed) is out long-term and does not have a timetable to return.

Gustafsson only played 13:34 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals, was absent from practice on Thursday, and will be sidelined indefinitely due to an undisclosed injury. The 33-year-old Gustafsson is averaging 16:19 time-on-ice, recording 18 points (2G / 16A) and a -19 plus/minus rating in 60 games this season.
