Detroit Red Wings News

Campbell was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

Campbell allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Kings win in Detroit on Sunday. Both of these goalies are coming off of wins over the Red Wings in their last start and Campbell comes in at 2-4-1 with a 3.28 GAA and .878 SV% on the road this year. He'll see a Blue Jackets team battling injuries but are on a five-game point streak, going 3-0-2 while scoring 3.20 goals per game.

Mrazek starts Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Mrazek allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Vancouver last Thursday. James Reimer started Saturday in Calgary but look for Mrazek to face the Jets on Tuesday. He has won 3-3-2 with a 2.94 GAA, .900 SV% and one shutout on the road this season, so this isn't the best matchup for the 27-year-old.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Penguins.

Talbot stopped 46 of the 48 shots that he faced in the Flames win in Arizona last Tuesday. Talbot has been impressive in his last two starts, going 2-0 while stopping 76 of the 81 shots (.938 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Penguins in town. Pittsburgh has gone 5-1-0 in their last six, will get Evgeny Malkin back tonight and will limit Talbot's goal-support.

Cam Talbot
Mrazek led the Hurricanes onto the ice for warmups.

Mrazek gave up two goals on 24 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Wild last Saturday. James Reimer started Tuesday in Edmonton but it looks like Mrazek will start Thursday in Vancouver. He's won two straight and is 3-3-1 with a 3.24 GAA and .891 SV% on the road this year, so he's not a great option against a quality Canucks offence.

Cam Talbot
Mrazek will start Saturday vs. the Wild.

Mrazek stopped 28 of 30 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Sharks on Thursday. James Reimer has been getting more action as of late but Mrazek will start his second straight game and comes in at 9-3-0 with a 2.31 GAA, .910 SV% and one shutout on home ice. The Wild are heating up but Mrazek is always a solid option in Carolina.

Petr Mrazek
Talbot will start Saturday vs. the Kings.

Talbot allowed six goals on 37 shots in the Flames loss in Vegas on November 17th. David Rittich has started the last seven games but Talbot will get a start tonight vs. the Kings. He is 1-5-0 with a 3.23 GAA and .893 SV% six starts this season and isn't a great option, even against a Kings team that played last night.

Campbell starts Monday in Anaheim.

Campbell allowed just one goal on 34 shots in the Kings win over the Jets on Saturday. The fantastic outing earned Campbell a second consecutive start on Monday night. The Ducks have lost five of their last six while scoring just 2.33 goals per game, but Campbell is 1-2-1 with a 3.46 GAA and .878 SV% on the road, so something as to give in this matchup.
