Larkin (upper-body) has been cleared to play Tuesday vs. the Devils.

Larkin missed the final two games before the All-Star break, but has been cleared to return to the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. Larkin has 12 goals and six assists (18 points) in 47 games this season and the Red Wings have sent Drew Miller to Grand Rapids (AHL) to make room for him.

Talbot will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Gibson (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Ducks' head coach Randy Carlyle never reveals his starting netminder and with John Gibson ailing and the Ducks not holding a morning skate, it's impossible to get a read on who will go tonight. He called Gibson a game-time decision, so it looks like we will have to wait until warmups to find out who starts for the Ducks.

John Gibson
Larkin will miss the next two games with an upper-body injury.

The Red Wings have two huge games vs. the Bruins and the Maple Leafs prior to the All-Star break, but they’ll be without Larkin. Larkin has had a tough season, posting just 12 goals and six assists (18 points) in 47 games this season and should be replaced by either Steve Ott, who is on IR, or Drew Miller, should he clear waivers.

Dylan Larkin
Gibson (upper-body) practiced on Sunday and should be available on Monday.

Gibson left Saturday’s game with 5:38 left in the first period after making what appeared to be a routine save. Despite leaving the game the night before, Gibson joined his teammates for practice on Sunday and appears to be fine. Monitor Gibson’s status during Monday’s morning skate, but it looks like he’ll be available to start in Winnipeg.
