Gibson is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Gibson was expected to start on Wednesday after finishing Monday's game with 14 saves in relief, but he is now day-to-day with a mysterious lower-body injury. With Gibson sidelined, Jonathan Bernier will get the nod and Jhonas Enroth has been recalled to be his backup.

Gibson stopped all 14 shots that he faced in relief of Jonathan Bernier in the Ducks loss in in Arizona on Monday. It was a nice performance from Gibson, who was coming off of a 24-save shutout the night before. He comes into tonight’s game having stopped the last 38 shots he has faced, but will be in tough vs. a strong Bruins offence.

Talbot will start Wednesday in Florida.

Talbot allowed one goal on 39 shots in the Oilers’ win in Chicago on Saturday. Laurent Brossoit gave him a rare night off in Tampa Bay last night, but Talbot will be back in goal tonight in Florida. He is riding a three-game winning streak and has posted a 2.00 GAA and .940 SV% over that stretch. Talbot stopped 28 of 31 shots in a 4-3 OT win in his first start against Florida.

Talbot made 33 saves on 36 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Flyers on Thursday. Talbot has won three of his last four while posting a 2.40 GAA, .913 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces the Blackhawks for the third time this season—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .922 SV% in the firs two meetings between these two squads.

Gibson stopped all 37 shots that he faced in the Ducks’ shutout win in Minnesota on Tuesday. He has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .923 SV% in the first half of February and will take on the Panthers for the second time in a few weeks tonight. He stopped 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 2-1 loss in Florida on February 3rd.

He has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .923 SV% in the first half of February and will take on the Panthers for the second time in a few weeks tonight. He stopped 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 2-1 loss in Florida on February 3rd.

Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Talbot has lost four of his last six starts while posting a 2.68 GAA, .897 SV% and one shutout. Talbot has gone 14-10-2 with a 2.52 GAA and .914 SV% in 26 starts on home ice this season and will face a Flyers team that is struggling to score.

Talbot allowed four goals on 20 shots before being yanked in the Oilers loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday. It was not the best way to come out of the bye week, but Talbot will look to rebound tonight versus a Coyotes team who played last night. He is 2-1-1 with a 1.72 GAA and .943 SV% in four starts against Arizona this season.

Gibson allowed five goals on 38 shots in the Ducks’ loss in Washington on Saturday. Gibson has lost three of his last four while posting a 3.14 GAA and .898 SV% and tonight he’ll face the Wild for the third time this season. He has gone 0-1-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .927 SV% in the first two meetings this season.

Gibson allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Ducks’ win in Buffalo on Thursday. The win was his 21st of the season and tonight he will make his 20th start on the road. Gibson has gone 7-7-6 with a 2.51 GAA and .909 SV% in the first 19 and he will be in tough against the league’s top team in Washington.

Talbot stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Oilers’ shutout win in Montreal last Sunday. The win snapped a three-game winning streak for Talbot, who will be the first goalie to make 50 starts this season. Talbot turned aside all 31 shots that he faced in a 5-0 shutout win in his first start vs. Chicago.

Gibson allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Ducks’ loss in New York on Tuesday. Gibson has lost four of his last five starts while allowing a combined 11 goals on 113 shots (.903 SV%). Gibson has struggled recently and he comes into tonight’s contest with a 6-7-6 record, 2.53 GAA and .909 SV% in 18 starts and two relief appearances on the road.

Gibson surrendered two goals on 37 shots in the Ducks’ loss in Florida last Friday. Jonathan Bernier started on Saturday, but they’ll go back to Gibson tonight in New York. He has gone 6-6-6 with a 2.50 GAA and .911 SV% in 17 starts and two relief appearances on the road so far this season.

Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Oilers’ loss in Nashville last night. It was a better outing than his game vs. the Wild on Tuesday, but he still ended up with the “L.” Tonight he will face the Hurricanes for the second time this season—he stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 win in the first meeting.

Gibson allowed one goal on 29 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Gibson finished January with a great 8-2-1 record, 1.59 GAA, .946 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he faces the Panthers, who will be getting two of their best forwards (Aleksander Barkov & Jonathan Huberdeau) back in the lineup.
