Armia has become a versatile part of the Canadiens' middle-6 in recent years and signs a nice $3.35M AAV extension the day before free agency. Armia's offence fell off a bit in 2021 but has averaged 19 goals and 16 assists (35 points) per 82-games in his three years in Montreal.
Moore had a career-year in Los Angeles in 2021, scoring 10 goals with 13 assists (23 points) in 56 games. Moore became an integral part during a rebuilding year but with so many high-end prospects coming up through the ranks, his spot in 2021-22 may not be as secure.
Dumoulin was nicked up in Game 1 and missed Monday's practice for "maintenance." It seems whatever was ailing Dumoulin is still lingering, leaving his status for Game 2 up in the air.
Brown has spent all of 2021 in the AHL, scoring one goal with six assists in 12 games with Belleville. Tonight will be his first game at the NHL level this year but he has one goal and eight assists in 29 career games with Ottawa.
Danault suffered an upper-body injury Thursday in Toronto and will not play Saturday. Danault returned to Montreal to be re-evaluated but is currently being listed as day-to-day.
