Varlamov will start Saturday vs. the Stars.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 36 shots in Colorado’s win in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Philipp Grubauer started last night, so Varlamov will go tonight vs. the Stars. The 30-year-old has won three straight and comes into Saturday at 3-2-1 with 2.18 GAA and .927 SV% on home-ice this season.

Rittich will start Friday in Vegas.

Rittich allowed three goals on 40 shots in the Flames win over the Jets on Wednesday. Rittich continues to play very well, winning six in a row while allowing just 11 goals on 153 shots (.928 SV%). Even more impressive is the fact that Rittich is 4-1-0 with a 1.32 GAA and .959 SV% on the road this season.

Rittich surrendered two goals on 22 shots in the Flames blowout win over the Golden Knights on Monday. The win extended Rittich’s winning streak to five games, stopping 105 of 113 shots (.929 SV%) with one shutout over that span. Rittich has impressed the season, but has difficult matchup tonight with the Jets in town.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 23 shots in Colorado’s win over the Bruins last Wednesday. Varlamov has won two in a row and is now 2-3-0 with a 3.46 GAA and .881 SV% in November. He has a chance to extend his winning streak to three against Kings team that is last in goals per game (2.00).

Rittich will start Monday vs. the Golden Knights.

Rittich made 24 saves on 26 shots in the Flames 4-2 win over the Oilers on Saturday. It was another strong outing for Rittich, who has now recorded wins in four straight games while allowing just six goals on 91 shots (.934 SV%). Rittich seems to have taken over the No.1 job in Calgary for the time being and will see a Vegas team on the tail-end of a back-to-back tonight.

Rittich has been way better than Mike Smith this season and could finally be handed the job as the Flames’ No.1 netminder. He comes in on a three-game winning streak, stopping 61 of the last 65 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced.

Varlamov allowed one goal on 27 shots in Colorado’s win in Edmonton on Sunday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Varlamov, who is now 5-5-2 with a 2.26 GAA and .929 SV% on the season. The Avalanche will host the Bruins tonight and Varlamov comes in at 2-2-1 with a 2.01 GAA and .936 SV% on home-ice.
