Rodrigo Abols will draw back into Philadelphia's lineup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators, sending Luchanko to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 19-year-old Luchanko, the 19th-overall pick by the Flyers in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, has zero points and a -3 plus/minus through four games this season.

Jett Luchanko will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators, allowing Abols to re-enter the lineup. The 29-year-old Abols is averaging 7:29 time-on-ice and has zero points through two games this season.

Expected to be Philadelphia's backup, or at best, a time-share goalie with Samuel Ersson, Vladar has made an early-season case for extra playing time and returns to the crease on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. The 28-year-old Vladar has been near-perfect early in the 2025-26 season, posting an outstanding 1.75 GAA and .929 SV% in four games (3-1-0). That said, in five previous NHL seasons, Vladar has had a save percentage above .900 only once. The Flyers enter Thursday's contest as +138 road underdogs against a struggling Senators team that has been outscored 33-22 this season (2-4-1).

Rodrigo Abols and Nicolas Deslauriers will be healthy scratches on Monday against the Seattle Kraken, allowing Nikita Grebenkin and Jett Luchanko to re-enter the lineup. The 19-year-old Luchanko, the Flyers' 13th-overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, has played three games this season and continues searching for his first career point.

Rodrigo Abols and Nicolas Deslauriers will be healthy scratches on Monday against the Seattle Kraken, allowing Nikita Grebenkin and Jett Luchanko to re-enter the lineup. The 22-year-old Grebenkin, in his first season with the Flyers, is averaging 10:17 time-on-ice and has one point (0G / 1A) in three games.

Five games into the Flyer's 2025-26 season (2-2-1), Vladar is making an early push for a heavier workload. The 28-year-old Czech goalie has been outstanding through three games this season (2-1-0), posting a stellar 1.65 GAA and .934 SV%. That said, in five previous NHL seasons, Vladar has had a save percentage above .900 only once. The Flyers enter Monday's contest as +114 road underdogs against a Seattle Kraken team that has yet to lose in regulation this season (3-0-2).

Tomasino has been in the lineup for the last two games, but will sit as a healthy scratch for the third time in five games. Ben Kindel will replace him in the bottom-6.

Ginning played in each of the first four games of the season, but will be replaced by Egor Zamula in the lineup on Saturday. Ginning has just two SOG and four hits while averaging 16:09 TOI/gm this season.

Luchanko has dressed in three straight games, but was held off of the scoresheet in each contest. He'll be replaced by Rodrigo Abols in the lineup on Saturday.

Grebenkin dressed in three straight games, tallying one assist and three hits while averaging 10:17 TOI/gm. He'll be replaced by Nicolas Deslauriers on Saturday.

Abols has been a healthy scratch for the last three games, but he will replace Jett Luchanko in the lineup on Saturday. Abols had one SOG and one hit in 8:05 TOI in his season debut.

Vladar allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Flyers win over the Panthers on Monday. Vladar has been great in his first two starts of the season, posting a 1-1-0 record, 2.02 GAA and .933 SV%. Tonight he'll face a Wild team on the tail-end of a back-to-back. The Flyers come in as -111 home favourites.

Jiricek had one assist in his season debut in Iowa, and returns to the NHL following an injury to Zach Bogosian on Friday. Jiricek could draw into the lineup on Saturday.

Jiricek was traded from Columbus last season due to growing frustration with a lack of NHL play, a commonality early in his tenure with the Minnesota Wild. The talented 21-year-old defenseman has been limited to only six games with Minnesota since being acquired in January last season, tallying two points (1G / 1A) in the process.

The Flyers are off to a 1-1-1 start to the 2025-26 season and will turn to Ersson for his second start between the pipes. The 25-year-old Ersson was serviceable in his only outing this season, saving 35 of 39 shots (.897 SV%), but allowed the game-deciding goal late in overtime in a 4-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Goaltending counterpart Dan Vladar has been solid to start his Flyers' tenure, so Ersson will need to string together some consistent play if he hopes to increase his workload this season. The Flyers enter Thursday's contest as +120 home underdogs against a Winnipeg Jets team that is averaging 4.0 goals per game through three games this season (2-1-0).
