Vasilevskiy will start Wednesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 40 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Senators on Monday. It was a great outing for Vasilevskiy, who took over for Ben Bishop who was traded to the Kings on the weekend. Vasilevskiy made 26 saves on 27 shots in the Lightning’s 3-1 win over the Hurricanes back on New Year’s Eve.

The Penguins have recalled Derrick Pouliot from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Pouliot has spent the majority of the year with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, where he has registered five goals and nine assists (14 points) in 32 games this season. The 23-year-old had 14 points (2G / 12A) in 63 career NHL games and could be in the lineup on Wednesday because the Penguins are dealing with a multitude of injuries on the back-end.

Elliott starts Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Elliott made 34 saves on 35 shots in the Flames’ win in Carolina on Sunday. Elliott has won three in a row while posting a 2.66 GAA and .909 SV% and tonight he will start for the sixth time in seven games. In his first start vs. the Kings, Elliott was torched for five goals on 39 shots in a 5-0 loss.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Flames last Thursday. With Ben Bishop being shipped to Los Angeles, Vasilevskiy becomes the Lightning’s No.1 starting tonight vs. the Senators. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .912 SV% vs. Ottawa this season.

The Lightning have recalled Yanni Gourde from Syracuse (AHL).

Gourde, 25, has registered 20 goals and 23 assists (43 points) in 53 games with Syracuse this season—that ranks third on the team. There is no word whether or not he will be in the lineup on Monday. The Quebec native has failed to record a point in two NHL games this season.

The Lightning acquired Erik Cernak, Peter Budaj, a 2017 seventh round pick and a conditional draft pick from the Kings for Ben Bishop and a 2017 fifth round pick.

Cernak, 19, was a second round pick (No. 43 overall) in 2015 and has scored three goals with 14 assists (17 points) in 41 games with the Erie Otters (OHL) this season.

Elliott starts Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Elliott allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Flames’ win in Nashville on Tuesday. It wasn’t a great outing for Elliott, but it was enough to earn the win and another start tonight in Tampa Bay. Elliott has gone 5-2-1 while posting a 2.57 GAA and .08 SV% in his last eight games. He has gone 7-7-3 with a 3.14 GAA and .883 SV% on the road this season.

Elliott will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Elliott allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Flames’ loss in Vancouver on Saturday. Elliott has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .913 SV% in his last seven appearances. Tonight he will face a Predators team that has lost three of their last five—Elliott is 6-7-3 with a 3.03 GAA and .887 SV% on the road this season.

Elliott allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Flames’ win over the Flyers on Wednesday. It was a really good outing for Elliott, who has four wins in his last five starts while posting a 2.22 GAA and 925 SV%. The 31-year-old is 1-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .815 SV% in two starts against Vancouver this season.

Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Minnesota last Friday. Vasilevskiy has lost three in a row, but will start in the first game of the game of the Lightning’s back-to-back and takes on a Stars team that has lost seven of their last eight games.

The Penguins have sent Josh Archibald to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Archibald appeared in two games during his call-up, but was a heathy scratch for the last two games because Evgeni Malkin returned in the first and Carl Hagelin returned in the second. Archibald has two goals in his season debut, but is on his way back to the AHL.

Elliott will start Wednesday vs. the Flyers.

Elliott allowed one goal on nine shots after replacing Chad Johnson in the Flames’ loss to the Coyotes on Monday. Elliott has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .913 SV% in his last five outings and tonight he’’ face the Flyers. The 31-year-old comes into Wednesday with a 5-6-0 record, 2.54 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 home appearances this season.

Vasilevskiy will start Friday in Minnesota.

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Senators on February 2nd. Ben Bishop has played very well in the last two games, but they’ll go with Vasilevskiy tonight in Minnesota. Vasilevskiy has just one win in his last nine road starts and has posted an ugly 3.95 GAA and .887 SV% in those games.
