Cernak is battling a lower-body injury and will miss his second straight game on Tuesday. Head coach Jon Cooper said that Cernak is closer to day-to-day than week-to-week, so don't expect him to be out for an extended period of time.

Cernak has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury that he suffered on November 9th. Cernak, who has three assists in 12 games, will replace Cal Foote on the blueline.

The Lightning called him week-to-week earlier in the day but he must have undergone further evaluation since. Point was hurt when he was tripped on a breakaway and crashed into the end boards on Saturday. Don't expect to see him back in the lineup until after Christmas.
