Vasilevskiy is expected to start Thursday vs. the Penguins.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Lightning's win over the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy is on a 14-game point streak (13-0-1) while posting a 1.92 GAA, .938 SV % and two shutouts over that stretch. In his first start vs. the Penguins, Vasilevskiy stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Lightning's 3-2 win in late-October.

Elliott will start Thursday vs. the Devils.

Elliott stopped all 16 shots that he faced in the Flyers shutout win in Detroit on Monday. Elliott has won four of his last five starts (4-0-1) while posting a 1.58 GAA, .935 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he faces a Devils team that has lost six of their last seven games (1-3-3) while averaging 3.00 goals for and 4.86 goals against per game.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Lightning's win in Anaheim last Friday. Since returning from their bye week, Vasilevskiy has gone 2-0-1 while stopping 87 of the 95 shots (.916 SV%) that he's faced. Tonight he faces a Vegas team that has lost six of their last nine (3-5-1) while averaging 2.67 goals per game.

Elliott surrendered four goals on 20 shots in the Flyers overtime loss in Pittsburgh on Friday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Elliott, who is 8-4-2 with a 3.33 GAA and .891 SV% on the road this season. Tonight he faces a Red Wings team that is on an eight-game losing streak, averaging 1.50 goals for and 4.25 goals against.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Lightning's win in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Vasilevskiy continues to play ridiculously well, winning 11 of his last 12 (11-0-1) while posting a 1.82 GAA, 942 SV% and two shutouts. He's a must-start regardless of the matchup but he's a top option in Anaheim. The Ducks are 5-7-1 while scoring just 2.46 goals per game since Christmas.

Elliott stopped all 19 shots that he faced in the Flyers' shutout win over the Penguins on January 21st. Elliott has won three straight while stopping 83 of the 87 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces the Penguins again. He has the shutout 10 days ago but was also pulled after giving up six goals on 28 shots in a 7-1 loss in the first meeting with the Penguins, so there is some risk here.

The loss snapped a 10-game winning streak for Vasilevskiy, who is now 11-4-2 with a 2.28 GAA and .926 SV% on the road this season. In his first start vs. the Kings, Vasilevskiy stopped 38 of 41 shots in a 4-3 shootout win (Jan.14).

Elliott stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Flyers win over the Kings on Saturday. Since Carter Hart got hurt, Elliott has gone 2-0 while stopping 64 of the 68 shots (.941 SV%) that he has faced. In his first start vs. the Penguins, Elliott allowed six goals on 28 shots in a 7-1 loss in late-October.

The Blue Jackets have activated Oliver Bjorkstrand from IR.

Bjorkstrand has missed the last 13 games but is set to return Sunday in New York. Bjorkstrand was red-hot before getting hurt, scoring six goals with two assists (eight points) in his last seven games. His shot volume has been extremely impressive as well, setting him up for a potentially huge second half of the season.

Elliott will start Saturday vs. the Kings.

Elliott allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Flyers win in St. Louis on Wednesday. Alex Lyon started Thursday, so they'll come back to Elliott tonight vs. the Kings. He is 2-1-2 with a 2.74 GAA and .900 SV% on home ice this year and draws a nice matchup with Los Angeles in town. The Kings have lost six of their last seven (1-5-1) while averaging 2.14 goals per game.

Elliott will start Wednesday in St. Louis.

Elliott allowed five goals on 33 shots i nthe Flyers loss in Carolina on January 7th. Since Christmas, he is 1-1-1 with a 3.82 GAA and .859 SV% and is 7-4-1 with a 3.32 GAA and .894 SV% on the road this year. With Carter Hart out for at least two weeks, the Flyers will turn to Elliott as their No.1. Since leaving St. Louis following the 2016 season, Elliott is 3-1-0 while stopping 81 of 91 shots (.890 SV%) vs. the Blues.

Paul is expected to miss at least one month with a high ankle sprain.

Paul suffered a high ankle sprain last week and there isn't an exact timeline on his return, but head coach DJ Smith expects him to miss at least four weeks. Paul had just started to heat up, scoring three goals with one assist in his five games before getting hurt.
