Rybinski is coming off his third and most successful AHL season with Hershey and has earned himself a one-year, two-way contract extension worth $775,000 with Washington. The 24-year-old forward was the Capitals' 2019 5th-round pick (136th overall) and is expected to spend 2025-26 back with Hershey, where he had 10 goals and 35 points in 60 games last season.

The Panthers will of course turn to Bobrovsky between the pipes when they look to etch their names on the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive season on Tuesday. Bobrovsky turned in another solid performance in Game 5, stopping 19 of the 21 shots he faced enroute to the 5-2 victory. Bobrovsky has been spectacular during the Panthers' postseason run, going 12-5 with 2.11 GAA, .912 SV%, three shutouts and 8.5 goals saved above expected. Unsurprisingly, he will start Game 1 vs. the Oilers, who he was 4-3 with a 2.67 GAA, .899 SV% and one shutout against in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.

With Mattias Ekholm (undisclosed) expected to make his 2024-25 postseason debut on Thursday for Game 5, Stecher will head to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 31-year-old Stecher is averaging 15:57 time-on-ice and has zero points through six games this postseason.

Bobrovsky snapped his four-game winning streak after allowing one goal on 26 shots against (.962 SV%) in Florida's Game 4 loss and will return to the crease for Game 5 in Carolina on Wednesday. The 36-year-old Russian netminder has excelled this postseason with his 2.05 GAA, .914 SV% and 11-5-0 record. He will head to Raleigh to attempt to close out the Hurricanes in five games and reach the Stanley Cup Final for a third straight season.

Roslovic was in the lineup for both Games 1 and 2, but it looks like he'll be replaced by Jesperi Kotkaniemi for Game 3 in Florida. Roslovic has yet to register a point and is a minus-4 in the series.

The 36-year-old veteran netminder has a 2.31 GAA, .901 SV%, and two shutouts through 12 games (8-4) this postseason. The Panthers enter Tuesday's contest as +109 road underdogs against the Hurricanes.

Despite only allowing two goals in Florida's Game 6 loss, Sergei Bobrovsky posted a save percentage below .900 for the third time in five games and will look to right the ship in Sunday's Game do-or-die matchup in Toronto. The 36-year-old has seven wins in 11 appearances so far in the playoffs despite posting a mediocre .898 SV% and 2.43 GAA. He will head to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs. who have lost each of their past six Game 7s.

Stolarz left Game 1 with a concussion but will make an unexpected return to the Maple Leafs' lineup he backs up Joseph Woll for Game 7 vs Florida. The towering netminder has an impressive 2.19 GAA during the playoffs to go alongside his 4-2-0 record and .901 SV%.
