Toronto Maple Leafs News

Stolarz led the Panthers onto the ice for warmups.

Panthers head coach Paul Maurice confirmed earlier this morning that Sergei Bobrovsky would get the start, but it appears there was a change of plans as Stolarz led the Panthers onto the ice for warmups for Tuesday's game against the Senators. Stolarz will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing start against the Canadiens last Tuesday, when we allowed five goals on 39 shots as the Panthers suffered a 5-3 defeat.

Robertson will draw back into the Maple Leafs' lineup on Tuesday in New Jersey.

Robertson was a healthy scratch for Toronto's previous two games but will return to the lineup on Tuesday as he replaces Connor Dewar in the lineup. The 22-year-old has appeared in the majority of Toronto's games this season and has taken a step forward with his 12 goals, 24 points, 84 SOG, four PIMs and +2 plus/minus through 51 games played.

Woll will start on Tuesday in New Jersey.

Woll will get his first start in three games as he takes on New Jersey for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back on Tuesday. The 25-year-old has struggled through injuries all season but still holds an impressive 11-10-1 record, 2.92 GAA and .907 SV%. He heads to New Jersey to take on the Devils, who have lost three of their last four contests and just announced their star forward Jack Hughes (shoulder) would be out for the remainder of the season.

Roy (undisclosed) is out on Monday vs. Vancouver and did not travel with Vegas on their current road-trip.

Roy did not play on Friday and will likely miss at least two more games as he did not travel with the Golden Knights on their two-game road trip. Before his injury, Roy has three points (0G / 3A) in his last seven games.

Nicolas Roy
Roy (undisclosed) will be out on Friday in Arizona and is considered day-to-day.

Roy left Tuesday's matchup against Vancouver after just 12:25 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will be out on Friday after missing practice today. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day going forward but is not expected to miss a large amount of time. He is in the middle of one of the best seasons of his seven-year career with 11 goals, 38 points, 107 SOG and 29 PIMs in 66 games played before the injury.

Woll will start against the Lightning on Wednesday.

Ilya Samsonov played the last two games for the Maple Leafs but they will turn to Woll on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning in an attempt to win four straight. Woll has allowed three or fewer goals in three of his last four (2-2-0), including a strong performance in his last outing, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 5-1 win over the Washington Capitals. The Maple Leafs enter action as -120 home favourites.

Tanev (upper body) will play on Wednesday after leaving the Stars' previous game due to injury.

Tanev briefly left Saturday's game against the Seattle Kraken after receiving a high hit from Adam Larsson that earned him a five-minute major and a game misconduct. The 34-year-old Tanev missed several shifts but completed the game and, after being evaluated, was a full participant at practice on Tuesday and is not expected to miss any time.
