Boeser took an ugly hit from behind from Senators centre Chris Tierney and Canucks head coach Travis Green announced that Boeser is in concussion protocol. With the regular season just over one week away, Boeser’s status for the season opener is suddenly in question.

Schuldt joined the Golden Knights for one game last season after finishing his senior year at St. Cloud State with 10 goals and 25 assists in 39 games. Schuldt has NHL aspirations in 2020 and he seems to be the frontrunner to start the season as Vegas’ No.6 defenseman.
Kravtsov, 19, was the No.9 overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft and one of the Rangers top prospects. The Russian right winger had eight goals and 13 assists (21 points0 in 50 games with Chelyabinsk Traktor of the KHL this season.
Oleksiak was a healthy scratch for the first two games of the series but will replace Taylor Fedun in Game 3. Oleksiak had 12 points (4G / 8A) in 57 games this season.
DeBrusk took some big licks in Game 2, including a cross-check to the head from Nazem Kadri late in the third period, but will play in Game 3. DeBrusk has been an effective pest through two games, registering six shots on goal but no points to date.

Chytil will miss Wednesday’s game vs. the Senators but head coach David Quinn said that he “may play before the season ends.” Brendan Smith will dress as a forward to replace Chytil tonight.
Demko allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Canucks win over the Sharks last Thursday. Jacob Markstrom started on Saturday, but they will come back to Demko tonight vs. the Sharks. The 23-year-old has gone 3-3-0 with a 3.08 GAA and .902 SV% in six starts and one relief appearance in the NHL this season.
