The Canucks got great news on Monday after a CT scan revealed no structural damage on Boeser’s foot. Boeser is dealing with a bone bruise and is “more day-to-day than week-to-week” according GM Jim Benning. Boeser suffered the injury while blocking a Mark Giordano shot on Sunday and is not expected to play Tuesday vs. the Canadiens.
DeBrusk has missed the last three games but will play tonight vs. Arizona. DeBrusk will replace Ryan Spooner, who is sidelined again. DeBrusk has registered 12 points (5G / 7A) in 21 games this season.
DeBrusk was not at the Bruins practice session on Tuesday and will be held out of the lineup on Wednesday because of an upper-body injury. This is a tough break for DeBrusk, who had been finding his stride since being a healthy scratch on November 11th—he picked up two goals, four assists and 18 shots in six games since. The injuries just continue to mount for the Bruins.
Demko has appeared in seven games with Utica this season and has gone 4-2-0 with a 1.85 GAA and .939 SV%. There’s no word on why Demko has been recalled, but he could serve as the backup tonight if one of the Canucks goalies are ailing.
Boeser missed Monday’s game with a foot contusion, but it looks like he could return tonight vs. the Devils. The rookie winger has had a good start to the season, posting two goals and seven assists (nine points) in his first eight games of the season. Look for him to replace Jayson Megna in the lineup if he plays.

Chytil averaged just 6:20 TOI in his first two NHL games and served as a healthy scratch vs. the Canadiens on Sunday. The 18-year-old will head to Hartford to work on his game—Adam Cracknell will take his spot on the roster after being claimed off of waivers from Dallas.

Labate is one of four players coming up from Utica because there are five Canucks believed to be dealing with mumps.The 23-year-old has just nine points (2G / 7A) in 25 games this season and has not recorded a point in three career NHL games.
Kane was in the lineup after being a game-time decision on Thursday, so expect the same thing to happen this afternoon. He missed yesterday’s practice for rest reasons because he’s fighting an illness, but he should play vs. the Blues.
