Skinner has not played since March 26th, leaving the Oilers' crease occupied exclusively by Calving Pickard, but he was back at practice on Monday and appears to be nearing an imminent return to the crease. The 26-year-old Skinner has a 2.91 GAA and .894 SV% in 49 games this season (24-18-4).

Hellebuyck will start vs. St. Louis on Monday.

The league-leading Jets have been inconsistent lately, losing two of their last three games (1-2-0), and will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes on Monday in a meeting with the red-hot St. Louis Blues. Hellebuyck struggled in his most recent outing, allowing three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) in a 4-1 loss to the Utah Hockey Club. The 31-year-old goalie remains a favorite for the Vezina trophy, boasting a stellar 2.04 GAA and .924 SV% in 59 games (43-12-3). The Jets enter Monday's contest as -168 home favorites against a Blues team riding a 12-game winning streak.

Winnipeg has signed Kieron Walton to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Walton was a sixth-round pick, 187th overall, of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old forward has been impressive in his third season with the Sudbury Wolves, scoring 92 points (38G / 54A) in 66 games.

The Jets, trying to secure first place in the Western Conference, have won three straight and will roll with Hellebuyck between the pipes on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 31-year-old Hellebuyck was terrific in his most recent outing, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks. He has an elite 2.01 GAA and .925 SV% in 57 games this season (43-10-3). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as +108 road underdogs against a Kings club with an outstanding 27-4-4 record at home this season.

Pionk (lower-body) returned to practice in a non-contact jersey for the first time since his injury.

Pionk has not played since March 11th but is nearing a return after practicing in a non-contact jersey on Tuesday. The 29-year-old Pionk was having an impressive season on the Jets' blueline before his injury, averaging 22:09 time-on-ice, recording 37 points (9G / 28A) and 109 hits in 66 games.

Kupari (concussion) had a setback and is now considered day-to-day.

Kupari returned from a concussion in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals, playing only 5:44 time-on-ice, and will be sidelined again after having a setback. The 25-year-old Kupari is averaging 10:16 time-on-ice and has eight points (5G / 3A) in 59 games this season.

The Jets have won five of their last seven (5-2-0) and will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes on Friday against the New Jersey Devils.
