Hellebuyck is expected to start vs. Washington on Tuesday.

The Jets are coming off a disappointing 5-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. They will likely have Hellebuyck tending the twine on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals in a battle between the top two teams in the Eastern and Western Conference. The 31-year-old Hellebuyck was serviceable in his most recent outing, saving 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) in a 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers. He has a 2.06 GAA and .924 SV% in 54 games this season (40-10-3). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -142 home favorites against a Capitals team riding a four-game winning streak.

Rosen has been recalled from Rochester (AHL).

Rosen played three games with the Sabres this season but has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL. The 22-year-old forward has 54 points (27G / 27A) in 55 games with the Rochester Americans (AHL) this season. In a corresponding move, the Sabres loaned Brett Murray to Rochester.

Vilardi is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Vilardi did not practice on Monday and will be sidelined week-to-week due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old Vilardi was having a tremendous season for the Jets, scoring 61 points (27G / 34A) in 71 games, and will be sorely missed during his absence. At practice on Monday, Alex Iafallo was promoted to a role on the Jets' top powerplay unit.

Skinner (undisclosed) is healthy and available for Saturday vs. Seattle.

Skinner exited Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets for precautionary reasons and will be ready to suit up on Saturday against the Seattle Kraken. That said, Oilers' head coach Kris Knoblauch did not specify if Skinner or Calvin Pickard would be between the pipes on Saturday.

Hellebuyck will start in Vancouver on Tuesday.

The Jets are riding a four-game winning streak, running away with first place in the Central Division, and will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes on Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks. Rosen was the 14th overall pick of the Sabres in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and is still searching for his first career point through 10 NHL games. The 22-year-old played three games with the Sabres this season but has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, tallying 51 points (27G / 24A) in 52 games with Rochester.

Pionk played a season-low 16:18 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the New York Rangers and will be sidelined week-to-week due to an undisclosed injury. The 29-year-old Pionk was having an impressive season on the Jets' blueline, averaging 22:09 time-on-ice, recording 37 points (9G / 28A) and 109 hits in 66 games.

The Jets will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes on Friday in a heated matchup between the top two teams in the Central Division. As he has against most teams this season, Hellebuyck has been tremendous in two games against the Dallas Stars this season (1-1-0), posting an excellent 1.52 GAA and .952 SV%. The 31-year-old goalie has a 1.99 GAA and .927 SV% in 50 games this season (38-9-3). The Jets enter Friday's contest as -133 home favorites against a Stars team that has scored four or more goals in 10 of their last 11 games (8-2-1).

The Oilers enter the action on Thursday as -132 road favorites against a Devils team that received crushing news on Thursday, announcing that Dougie Hamilton will be out for the remainder of the season.

Carl Grundstrom will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks, accommodating Gregor's insertion into the Sharks' lineup for the first time since being acquired in a trade last week. The 26-year-old Gregor averaged 11:21 time-on-ice and had six points (4G / 2A) in 40 games with the Ottawa Senators this season.

The Sharks acquired Noah Gregor, Zack Ostapchuk, and a 2025 2nd Round Pick from the Senators for Fabian Zetterlund, Tristen Robins, and a 4th Round Pick. Gregor's team debut has been delayed due to immigration issues. The 26-year-old Gregor scored six points (4G / 2A) in 40 games with the Senators this season.
