Hellebuyck allowed six goals on 22 shots (.727 SV%) in his worst start of the season as he snapped a four-game winning streak with a loss to Detroit. The 29-year-old has been enjoying a sensational bounce-back season, with his 20-10-1 record, 2.42 GAA and .924 SV%. He will face the Buffalo Sabres, who have lost their last two-games but have won seven of their last ten.

Stuart Skinner (personal) is not expected to be available Wednesday or Friday.

Skinner was placed on the non-roster list Tuesday as he left the team to be with his wife for the birth of their first son. The 24-year-old will be missed, as he has taken over the starting gig in Edmonton due to his strong play resulting in his 12-10-2 record, 2.96 GAA and .914 SV%.

Walker Duehr is expected to make his season debut Tuesday vs. St. Louis.

Duehr had ten goals, six assists, 20 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 31 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) and will make his 2022-23 Calgary Flames debut Tuesday vs. the Blues. The 25-year-old has previously played in one NHL game in 2021-22 with the Flames.

Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%) for his fourth-straight win as he beat Tampa Bay in his previous start. The 29-year-old is in the Vezina Trophy race this season, due to his 20-9-1 record, 2.30 GAA and .928 SV%. He draws the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday, who are in the midst of a three-game losing skid and rank in the bottom 10 in both goals per game (24th) and shots per game (26th).

He will take on the Los Angeles Kings, who won their last game 5-1 vs. Vegas and are 11th in the NHL in shots per game (32.2).
