Sorokin stopped 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) to snap an eight-game losing streak in a victory over Florida in his last start. The 27-year-old has been a star yet again this season for New York, with his 11-11-1 record, 2.37 GAA and .925 SV%. He takes on the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are ninth in the NHL in shots per game (32.8) and seventh in goals (3.42).

Igor Shesterkin will start vs. Washington.

Shesterkin was not busy, stopping 15 of 18 shots (.833 SV%) as he picked up his seventh victory in eight starts with a win over the Islanders his last time out. The 2021-22 Vezina Trophy winner has an incredible record (17-5-4) but has not been his usual dominant self with his 2.44 GAA and .916 SV%. He will face the Washington Capitals, who are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and have won nine of their last 10 games.

Jeremy Swayman will start Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Swayman stopped 25 of 27 shots (.926 SV%) for his second straight win as he defeated Winnipeg in his last start. It has been a rough go so far for the 24-year-old Bruins' backup, due to his .898 SV%, 2.65 GAA and 7-3-1 record. He will face Ottawa, who had their last game postponed and are in the middle of a three-game losing skid.

Carter Hart is healthy enough to make the Flyers' current road trip and play (upper body).

Hart was forced to leave the Flyers' previous game against Carolina after just 9:54 TOI due to an upper-body injury but will return on Philadelphia's current road trip. The 24-year-old is 10-11-6 with a 2.89 GAA and .911 SV% this season.

Reimer will start Tuesday in Vancouver.

Reimer stopped 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak as he beat Minnesota in his last game. The 34-year-old has had an up-and-down season with his 7-9-3 record, 2.99 GAA and .904 SV%. He will face the Vancouver Canucks, who have won their last two games and are eighth in the NHL in goals per game (3.39).

James Reimer
Trevor Moore will not play Tuesday vs. Vegas as he is day-to-day with an injury (undisclosed).

Moore has seven goals, 12 assists and 115 SOG through 37 games this season but will be forced to miss his first game of the year as he is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Moore is also likely not to travel to Denver Thursday to take on the Avalanche.

Copley stopped 27 of 30 shots (.900 SV%) as he picked up his fourth straight win with a victory over Calgary in his last start. The 30-year-old Alaska native has been sensational since getting called up earlier this month, with his 6-1-0 record, 2.49 GAA and .910 SV%. He will take on the Vegas Golden Knights, who are 10th in the NHL in both goals per game (3.31) and shots per game (32.7).

Skinner is in the starter's crease at the Oilers morning skate.

Skinner allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) for his fourth loss in five starts as he was beaten by the Vancouver Canucks in his last start. The 24-year-old has been solid for the Oilers in his first full season, with his 10-9-1 record, .911 SV% and 2.90 GAA. He should be busy Tuesday as he takes on the Calgary Flames, who are fifth in the NHL in shots per game (34.4).

Jakub Vrana is heading to Grand Rapids (AHL) for a three-game conditioning stint.

Vrana has not played since Oct. 15th due to personal reasons and will now head to Grand Rapids (AHL) for a three-game conditioning stint. The 26-year-old had a goal, two points and five SOG in his short two-game stint prior to stepping away from the team.

Samsonov stopped 16 of 19 shots (.842 SV%) for his sixth win in seven starts with a victory over Philadelphia his last time between the pipes. The 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong first season in Toronto, with his 10-3-0 record, .924 SV% and 2.07 GAA. He will face the St. Louis Blues, who are 22nd in the NHL in goals per game (3.03) and have lost their last two.

Martin was the first goalie off of the ice at the Canucks morning skate.

Martin allowed five goals on 36 shots (.861 SV%) but still picked up the victory in his last start vs Seattle. Martin has struggled since being given a starters' workload, with his .884 SV% and 3.66 GAA but a 10-5-1 record. He will face the San Jose Sharks, who just snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over Minnesota in their last game.

Ingram will start Tuesday vs. the Avalanche.

Ingram allowed three goals on 41 shots (.927 SV%) as he picked up his seventh straight loss in his last start on Dec. 17th vs. Buffalo. The Coyotes' backup has been horrid this season, with his 1-7-1 record, 4.39 GAA and .875 SV%. He will face the Colorado Avalanche, who have won their last four and six of their last seven games.
