Jason Zucker will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. the New York Rangers (undisclosed).

Zucker was having a great bounce season with six goals, 20 points, 67 SOG and a +6 plus/minus through 27 games but has been out since Dec. 12th due to an undisclosed injury. It marked the fifth straight season where Zucker was forced to miss a chunk of games due to injury, so a return is great news for the Penguins.

Jason Zucker
Jarry will start Tuesday vs. the Rangers.

Jarry stopped 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) for his sixth straight win with a victory over Florida in his last start. The 27-year-old has been sensational this season, with his 14-3-3 record, 2.63 GA and .921 SV%. He will face the red-hot New York Rangers, who will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Tristan Jarry
Craig Smith has cleared waivers and been assigned to Providence (AHL).

Smith will head back to the AHL for the first time since 2013 after clearing waivers Monday. He will head to Providence (AHL) after putting up a goal, three assists, 23 SOG and six PIMs while averaging a career-low 9:53 TOI across 18 games.

Craig Smith
Murray will start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Murray stopped 17 of 19 shots (.895 SV%) as he snapped a two-game winning streak in a loss to the New York Rangers in his last start. The 28-year-old has been having the best season of his eight year career in his first in Toronto, with his 7-2-2 record, 2.46 GAA and .924 SV%. He will face the surging Tampa Bay Lightning, who are in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Matt Murray
Liam Foudy will draw back into the Blue Jackets' lineup Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Foudy has been a healthy scratch for the previous two games but will draw back into the lineup after it was announced that Yegor Chinakhov would be out indefinitely. The 2018 1st round pick (18th overall) has failed to produce so far this season, with only three assists, seven SOG and a -10 plus/minus through 15 games this season.

Liam Foudy
Tarasov starts Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Tarasov allowed only one goal on 33 shots (.970 SV%) but still managed to pick up his fourth straight loss in a hard-fought defeat to the Dallas Stars in his last start. The Blue Jackets' third goalie has been their best netminder by a mile, with his .915 SV%, 3.03 GAA and 2-6-1 record. He will take on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have lost five of their last six games after a 6-3 defeat to the Rangers in their last game.

Daniil Tarasov
Jordan Gross has been reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).

Gross will head back to Milwaukee (AHL) after a very productive stint with the Predators that saw him pick up his first three career goals, with 20 SOG and a -3 plus/minus while playing 18:49 ATOI nightly in 10 games while playing as Roman Josi's defensive partner. He heads back to Milwaukee, where he had two goals, nine assists and five PIMs in 13 games prior to his previous promotion.

Jordan Gross
The Blue Jackets have placed Yegor Chinakhov on IR; he's out indefinitely with an ankle injury.

Chinakhov only managed one shift (0:37 TOI) in the Blue Jackets game Monday and will now head to the injured reserve with an ankle injury as he is out indefinitely. The 2020 1st round pick (21st overall) had been having his most productive season to date, with four goals, nine assists, 44 SOG and 10 PIMs through 30 games prior to the injury.

Yegor Chinakhov
Hart will start Tuesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Hart allowed four goals on 33 shots (.879 SV%) in a loss to the New York Rangers in his previous start between the pipes. The 24-year-old has been the lone bright spot in an otherwise horrific Flyers season, with his 9-9-6 record, 2.82 GAA and .913 SV%. He draws the Columbus Blue Jackets Tuesday, who are looking to snap a four-game losing skid.

Carter Hart
Murray will likely start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Matt Murray
Kochetkov is in the starter's crease at the Hurricanes morning skate.

Kochetkov stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) for his fourth straight win in his last start as he beat the Pittsburgh Penguins. The rookie netminder has been a revelation for the Hurricanes in his first season, with his 9-1-4 record, 2.01 GAA and .923 SV%. He will face the New Jersey Devils, who are on a bit of a slide, having lost their last five games.

Pyotr Kochetkov
Blake Wheeler has been placed on the injured reserve and will miss a month due to groin surgery.

Wheeler had nine goals, 17 assists, 66 SOG and 20 PIMs in 29 games prior to it being announced Tuesday that he would miss up to a month due to groin surgery. He will be hoping to return sooner rather than later after missing 17 games in the 2021-22 season.

Blake Wheeler
Chytil (upper-body) is questionable to play Monday in Pittsburgh.

Chytil collected one goal and one assist in 4:48 TOI before exiting Sunday's game in Chicago with an upper-body injury. After Chytil left, Barclay Goodrow moved to centre, and Vitaly Kravtsov moved up the lineup, look for that to remain if he can't go Tuesday.

Filip Chytil
Martin led the Canucks onto the ice for warmups.

Martin allowed five goals on 27 shots (.815 SV%) as he picked up his second loss in three games with a defeat to the Winnipeg Jets in his last start. The 27-year-old has an impressive 9-4-1 record despite having a mediocre .889 SV% and 3.50 GAA. He will face the St. Louis Blues, who have won their last three games after a 5-2 victory over Calgary their last time out.
