Wedgwood won his third straight start his last time out, stopping 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) in a 6-2 victory over the high scoring Edmonton Oilers. He has filled in admirably in the absence of Jake Oettinger (lower-body), posting a 3-2-1 record along with a .908 SV% and 3.05 GAA. He faces off against the surging Winnipeg Jets, who have won five of their last six games while still only ranking 20th in the NHL in GF/GP with 3.0.

Jones will start Tuesday vs. the Predators.

Jones impressively stopped 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) picking up his third straight win his last time out vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jones is currently tied for second place in the NHL with six wins, while posting average numbers across the board with his .901 SV% and 2.61 GAA. He will face the Nashville Predators who are on a two game win streak but have failed to score this season, ranking 28th in the NHL with 2.75 GF/GP.

Vasilevskiy is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Oilers.

Vasilevskiy amazingly stopped 52 shots and still took the loss as Tampa dropped his previous start 4-3 vs. Carolina. He has not been his usual dominant self early on this year, posting a 4-3-1 record, with his .911 SV% and 2.87 GAA. He faces off against Edmonton Tuesday who is on the second half of a back-to-back after dropping their third straight contest Monday in a 5-4 loss to Washington.

Quick will likely start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Quick allowed four goals on 38 shots (.895 SV%) in his last start, a 5-4 win over Florida in his last start. The 36-year-old has struggled this season, collecting a 3.34 GAA and .890 SV% while posting a 4-4-1 record in 10 starts. He takes on the Minnesota Wild Tuesday who were shutout by the Seattle Kraken 4-0 in their previous game.

Vanecek is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Vanecek won his fifth straight start his last time out, stopping 27 of 30 shots (.900 SV%) in a 4-3 victory over Calgary. With Mackenzie Blackwood now on the injured reserve, the Devils' crease is now Vanecek's alone, as he holds a 5-1-0 record with a .908 SV% and 2.20 GAA. He takes on the Calgary Flames who are on the second of a back-to-back and are on a downward spiral after losing their fifth straight game in overtime 4-3 Monday to NYI.

Jordie Benn has been activated from the long-term injured reserve Tuesday (groin).

Benn has yet to make an appearance for the Maple Leafs after being acquired in the offseason due to a groin injury which has kept him on long-term injured reserve up until Tuesday. He will be a welcome addition to the Maple Leafs defence, bringing 595 career NHL games and 135 points directly into the lineup.

Victor Mete was loaned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) Tuesday.

Mete's first cup of tea with the Maple Leafs lasted five games with him collecting one assist and a +3 plus/minus rating while averaging 13:16 ATOI. He will head back to the Toronto Marlies in a move corresponding with Jordie Benn being activated from the injured reserve.

Aaron Ekblad is "expected" to return to the Panthers' lineup Saturday.

Ekblad is "expected" to return to the Panther's lineup Saturday vs. Edmonton. The 26-year-old has been out since October 17th when he left a game against Boston early with a lower-back injury. Through his first three games of the season, he had one goal and seven SOG while leading the Panthers blueline.

Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Stars.

Hellebuyck was perfect in his previous start, stopping 30 of 30 shots while picking up his first shutout of the season over Chicago. Hellebuyck has been one of the NHLs best goaltenders this season, ranking second in Wins (6), fourth in SV% (.936 SV%) and sixth in GAA (2.09). He draws the tough task of the Central leading Dallas Stars who are on a three game winning streak, averaging six goals in each of their wins.

Martin will start Tuesday in Ottawa.

Martin struggled but won his last start allowing five goals on 31 shots (.839 SV%) vs. Nashville as he picked up his second win of the season (2-0-1) November 3rd. The Canucks backup strongly hurt his numbers with his previous performance, as he now holds a .899 SV% and 3.28 GAA. He will face a struggling Ottawa Senators team who will be hoping to return to win column after losing their last five games.

Evgenii Dadonov will return to the Canadiens lineup Tuesday (illness).

Dadonov has not played since October 27th after hitting the injured reserve due to illness. He is expected to rejoin the Canadiens' lineup Tuesday and will be hoping to collect his first point since joining Montreal in the offseason. The 33-year-old has struggled with only 10 SOG through eight games while averaging just 13:29 ATOI.

Hellebuyck was perfect in his previous start, stopping 30 of 30 shots while picking up his first shutout of the season over Chicago. Matt Murray is to participate in his first full practice Wednesday (lower body)

Murray has been out since mid-October due to a lower-body injury sustained in practice. The 28-year-old was hoping for a career resurgent season after being acquired by Toronto in the offseason but struggled in his only start allowing four goals on 23 shots (.826 SV%) in a loss to Montreal.

Zadina will miss 6-to-8 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Zadina was hurt over the weekend while blocking a shot and the Red Wings immediately announced that he would be out indefinitely. They provided a more detailed update on Tuesday and expect him to be out until at least mid-to-late December.

Ilya Samsonov is week-to-week with knee injury

Samsonov left the Maple Leafs' last game against Boston early with a knee injury after stopping 13 of 14 shots in Toronto's win. He will be out week-to-week with a knee injury. It is a tough loss for Toronto's starter who has enjoyed a very solid start to his Maple Leaf career going 6-2-0 with a 2.23 GAA and .921 SV%.
