Pitlick missed the last two games with an upper-body injury that he suffered vs. the Maple Leafs last Saturday. Pitlick will replace Mathieu Perreault in the lineup vs. the Hurricanes. Pitlick has picked up just two assists in 27 games this season.

Kotkanieimi suffered a lower-body injury late in Tuesday's win in Washington on a questionable hit from Lars Eller. Jordan Martinook (undisclosed) could be back in the lineup on Thursday to replace Kotkanieimi on the fourth line.

Lyubushkin was pulled from Tuesday's game for precautionary reasons after being punched by Taylor Hall. Carl Dahlstrom is expected to replace him in the lineup on Thursday but the Maple Leafs don't expect Lyubushkin to be out long-term. Monitor his status heading into Saturday's game in Philadelphia.

Mrazek suffered his third groin injury of the season and is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks. Michael Hutchinson was recalled on Thursday to serve as Erik Kallgren's backup vs. the Jets. Jack Campbell could be back by the weekend to replace Mrazek on a more permanent basis. If his injury finishes Mrazek's season, he wraps it up with a 12-6-0 record, 3.34 GAA and .888 SV%.

Barron was acquired from the Rangers in the Andrew Copp trade and has scored one goal with one assist in five games since reporting to Manitoba. He could make his Jets debut on Thursday after being recalled and joining the team in Toronto.

MacKinnon missed Tuesday's game in Calgary with an upper-body injury that he suffered in a fight with Matt Dumba on Sunday. The Avalanche said that concern was "high" on Tuesday but it appears MacKinnon's re-evaluation went well and he should play vs. the Sharks. MacKinnon has picked up 27 points (13G / 14A) in his last 20 games.

Petr Mrazek suffered a groin injury on Tuesday, so Hutchinson comes up to serve as Erik Kallgren's backup on Thursday. Hutchinson has spent most of the year in the AHL, going 6-6-3 with a 3.11 GAA and .905 SV% in 17 games with the Marlies.

Zucker has been out since January 17th with a lower-body injury but is expected to draw back into the Penguins' lineup on Thursday. Zucker, who has 13 points (6G / 7A) in 31 games this season, will skate on the second line (with Malkin & Rakell) and second power-play unit.

Keller suffered a lower-body injury in an awkward fall into the end boards during Wednesday's win over the Sharks. Keller had to be stretchered off of the ice but tweeted last night that he was "resting comfortably at the hospital in good spirits." Keller will miss the rest of the season but is expected to be ready for the start of the 2022-23 season.
