Hutton has lost three straight but has actually played really well as of late, stopping 62 of the last 65 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. Even with Curtis McElhinney in the other net, Hutton is a risky option against a Lightning team that outshot the Sabres 34-to-22 yesterday.

The Islanders goalie rotation is expected to continue on Saturday afternoon, setting up a Greiss vs. Sergei Bobrovsky matchup. Tonight he faces the Predators for the second time this season--he allowed four goals on 24 shots in a 5-2 loss in the first meeting (Oct.8).

Ritchie will come out of the lineup in Detroit because of an upper-body issue. Replacing Ritchie will be Steven Kampfer, who is from nearby Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ritchie is day-to-day.

Kampfer was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will dress as a seventh defenseman on Friday night. Kampfer is an Ann Arbor, Michigan native, so the Bruins obviously wanted to get him into the lineup near his hometown. Brett Ritchie will come out of the lineup.

Rooney played in eight straight games but will sit as a healthy scratch on Friday night. Rooney will be replaced by Jesper Bratt, who sat out of the last two games with an upper-body injury.
