Brassard (undisclosed) will not play on Tuesday.

Brassard is dealing with an undisclosed injury that will keep him out of tonight’s contest. There’s no word when Brassard suffered the injury but it will force the Senators to go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen tonight. Monitor Brassard’s status heading into Thursday’s game vs. the Predators.

Derick Brassard
Anderson will start Tuesday vs. the Devils.

Anderson allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Senators win in Philadelphia on Saturday. He was given another night off on Sunday, but will draw back in tonight vs. the Devils. Anderson’s win was his first since January 10th and he comes into Tuesday’s game at 8-9-3 with a 3.37 GAA and .896 SV% at the Canadian Tire Centre this season.

Craig Anderson
Miller said he will start Tuesday in Buffalo.

Miller allowed six goals on 39 shots in the Ducks loss in Toronto last night. With John Gibson still dealing with a lower-body injury, Miller will start on back-to-back nights. Miller hasn’t been very good in the last month, posting a 4.52 GAA and .863 SV% in his last seven appearances. Despite the plus matchup, on a back-to-back and given his recent play, Miller makes for a risky option tonight.

Ryan Miller
Holtby is in the starter's net at the Capitals morning skate.

Holtby allowed six goals on 33 shots in the Capitals loss in Pittsburgh last Friday. Holtby has lost four of his last six starts (2-2-2) with a 3.29 GAA and .897 SV%. He will look to get back on track against the Blue Jackets—he stopped 32 of 35 shots in a 4-3 win in early-December.

Braden Holtby
Hutton will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Hutton stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Blues’ shutout win in Buffalo on Saturday. Hutton has won four in a row while stopping 121 of the 123 shots (.984 SV%) that he has faced over that stretch. Hutton has been great all season-long and comes into Tuesday at 8-3-0 with a 1.65 GAA and .947 SV% on home-ice this season.

Carter Hutton
Hutton is in the starter's crease at the Blues morning skate.

Carter Hutton
Andersen (undisclosed) practiced on Tuesday after leaving Monday’s game early.

Andersen left last night’s win over the Ducks following a collision with Corey Perry. However, Andersen was back on the ice for Tuesday’s practice, which is a good sign that he will be available for the Maple Leafs’ next game. Monitor his status during Wednesday’s morning skate with the Predators in town.

Frederik Andersen
Helm (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Helm missed Monday’s practice and is questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Bruins. Helm recently returned to the Red Wings’ lineup and has picked up five points (1G / 4A) in three games, so Detroit could certainly use his services as they get set to face the hottest team in hockey.

Darren Helm
Howard will start Tuesday vs. the Bruins.

Howard was pulled after allowing three goals on nine shots the Red Wings loss to the Blackhawks on January 25th. Howard has struggled mightily as of late, losing his last four starts while posting a 4.61 GAA and .861 SV%. He will be in tough tonight as he goes head-to-head with Tuukka Rask, who hasn’t lost in regulation in 20 starts.

Jimmy Howard
Lehner will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Lehner allowed one goal on 33 shots but was stuck with the loss vs. the Blues on Saturday. Lehner has played extremely well in his last four starts, going 2-2-0 while allowing just three goals on 123 shots (.976 SV%). He will look to keep things rolling against the Ducks, who have lost three in a row and played last night in Toronto.

Robin Lehner
Elliott will likely start Tuesday in Carolina.

Elliott allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Flyers win in Detroit on January 23rd. Elliott missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but will return to the crease tonight in Carolina. The veteran netminder has gone 5-1-0 despite posting a 3.18 GAA and .888 SV% in his last six starts.

Brian Elliott
Sateri will start Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Sateri allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Panthers win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Sateri has won three in a row while posting a 1.67 GAA and .946 SV%. Sateri’s run as the Panthers No.1 might be coming to an end soon, but he will get at least one more start tonight vs. the Canucks—Vancouver has gone 5-8-1 while averaging just 2.43 goals for in their last 14.

Harri Sateri
The Jets have recalled Nic Petan from Manitoba (AHL).

Petan failed to record a point in six games with the Jets earlier this season but has been great with Manitoba this season. The 22-year-old is second on the Moose with 41 points (12G / 29A) in 39 games this season. Expect him to play on Tuesday with the Jets getting banged up at forward.

Nic Petan
Lundqvist will start Monday in Dallas.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Rangers loss in Nashville on Saturday. The last few weeks have been a disaster for Lundqvist, who has been pulled twice while losing five in a row with a 4.46 GAA and .857 SV%. Tonight he faces one of the best home teams in the NHL and comes in at 6-9-2 with a 2.96 GAA and .918 SV% on the road.

Henrik Lundqvist
Vasilevskiy will start Monday in Edmonton.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Lightning’s win in Vancouver on Saturday. Vasilevskiy has won four in a row while posting a 1.75 GAA, .955 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a poor Oilers team in Edmonton—Vasilevskiy is 15-6-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .943 SV% on the road this year.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Girardi (lower-body) will miss his third straight game on Monday.

Girardi is doing better but won’t play tonight in Edmonton. With Girardi out again, the Lightning’s blueline is expected to remain the exact same as Saturday’s game in Vancouver.
