Allen stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Blues win in Vancouver last Saturday. The win snapped an ugly four-game losing skid for Allen, who will make his 31st start of the season tonight. Allen has gone 10-5-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .915 SV% at the Scottrade Center this season.

Howard gave up two goals on 25 shots in the Red Wings loss in Boston before the Christmas break. Howard has dropped five of his last six starts while posting a 2.83 GAA and .895 SV%. Howie has just two wins in his last 14 appearances dating back to mid-November.

Lehner allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Sabres win over the Flyers last Friday. He was given Saturday off so he will climb back between the pipes tonight in Brooklyn. Lehner is 3-3-2 with a 2.35 GAA and .931 SV% in eight December starts and was yanked in his first start against the Islanders this season.

Boyle departed Saturday’s game early but will play tonight vs. the Red Wings. Boyle has been one of feel good stories of the 2017-18 season and comes into Wednesday’s game red-hot having recorded six goals and four assists (10 points) in his last eight games.

Khudobin will start Thursday in Washington.

Khudobin stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Bruins shutout win in Buffalo on December 19th. Tuukka Rask started five of the last six games but Khudobin will get the nod tonight in Washington. He allowed four goals on 21 shots in a 5-3 loss in his first start vs. the Capitals but has gone 5-1-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .943 SV% in eight road appearances this season.

Rask will start Wednesday vs. the Senators.

Rask surrendered one goal on 31 shots in the Bruins win over the Red Wings last Saturday. Rask has won three in a row and is 7-0-1 with a 1.39 GAA and .950 SV% in December. Tonight he will face the Senators for the first time this season—he has gone 9-4-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .922 SV% in 15 starts at the TD Garden this year.

Letang is day-to-day with a lower-body injury; won't play Wednesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Letang has had injury issues throughout his career but has appeared in the first 37 games of 2017-18 prior to missing tonight’s game. With Letang out, Matt Hunwick will draw back into the lineup and play on the top pairing with Brian Dumoulin. Olli Maatta will slide in on the top power-play unit.

Stalock allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Wild’s loss in Tampa Bay last Saturday. Despite losing four of his last five starts and Devan Dubnyk expected to be healthy enough to backup, Stalock will start tonight vs. the Stars. Stalock has got 3-2-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .935 SV% on home ice this season.

Pavelec allowed one goal on 45 shots in the Rangers loss to Dallas on December 11th. Henrik Lundqvist started the last six games but Pavelec will start the first game after the Christmas break. Pavelec has gone 2-4-1 with a 3.04 GAA and .914 SV% in five starts and three relief appearances this season.

Ward will start Wednesday vs. the Canadiens.

Ward allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Sabres last Saturday. Ward will be making his third straight start and is searching for his fifth consecutive win—he has a 2.18 GAA and .922 SV% during his four-game streak. Ward has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .914 SV% in five starts on home-ice.

Since returning from injury, Murray has won two of five starts while posting a 2.71 GAA and .903 SV%. One of those wins came against the Blue Jackets, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 3-2 shootout victory vs. Columbus last Thursday.

The Blackhawks have recalled Jeff Glass from Rockford (AHL).

With Corey Crawford (undisclosed) going on IR on Wednesday morning, Glass comes up to serve as Anton Forsberg’s backup for the time being. The 32-year-old has never played in an NHL game but has gone 10-4-1 with a 2.60 GAA and .917 SV% in 18 starts with the IceHogs this season.

The Blackhawks have placed Corey Crawford (undisclosed) on IR.

Crawford was pulled in his last start before the Christmas break, but he allowed three goals on seven shots, so there was no indication of an injury. The Blackhawks will likely make an announcement regarding the nature of Crawford’s injury, but all we know is that he will miss at least seven days and Jeff Glass has been recalled to serve as Anton Forsberg’s backup.

Grubauer gave up three goals on 27 shots in the Capitals loss in Arizona last Friday. The Capitals have another back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday so Grubauer will likely go tonight and Braden Holtby tomorrow.
