Silfverberg will miss his third consecutive game with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Thursday. Tonight is the Ducks’ final game before the All-Star break, so sitting out tonight affords Silfverberg an additional five days of rest.

Darling stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Blackhawks’ shutout win in Boston last Friday. Darling carries an impressive 12-4-2 record as the Blackhawks’ backup and enters Thursday with a 1.98 GAA and .938 SV% on home ice this season. Tonight he faces the Rangers for the third time—he has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.58 GAA and .860 SV% in the first two meetings.

Bennett has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and was moved to IR this morning so the Devils could claim Stefan Noesen off of waivers from Anaheim. There’s no timeline for Bennett’s return, so consider him as day-to-day.

Galchenyuk will miss his second straight game after he re-aggravated a knee injury vs. the Sabres on Saturday. Monitor Galchenyuk’s status when the Canadiens return from the All-Star break.

Desharnais has been sidelined since December 6th, but was on the ice this morning and should be ready to go once the Canadiens return from the All-Star break. The veteran centre has just nine points (3G / 6A) in 25 games this season.

Price allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Flames on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Price, who is now seventh in the NHL in wins (22). Tonight he faces an Islanders team that has won four of their last five (4-0-1) and Price comes in at 6-4-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .908 SV% on the road this season.

Duchene missed Monday’s game with an illness, but returns to the lineup tonight vs. the Canucks. Duchene has two goals and two assists in his last four games and comes in with 28 points (15G / 13A) in 40 games this season.

Copley allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Blues’ loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. With Jake Allen ready to return in Minnesota, Copley returns to Chicago, where he has gone 11-4-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .920 SV%.

Noesen, 23, was a first round pick in 2011 (21st overall) and has only appeared in 14 NHL games since. Noesen posted two goals in 12 games with the Ducks prior to being waived. The Texas native had 15 points (6G / 9A) in 22 games with San Diego (AHL) before he was called up.

Del Zotto missed Sunday’s game in Brooklyn because of a lower-body injury. Del Zotto is dealing with a bruised leg after blocking a shot vs. the Devils on Saturday. Del Zotto will likely miss Wednesday and Thursday’s game, so look for Brandon Manning to stay in the lineup.

Vanek missed Tuesday’s game in Boston, but General Manager Ken Holland said that he could return tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Because of the back-to-back, the Red Wings will not have a morning skate, so consider Vanek as a game-time decision and monitor his status when the Red Wings arrive at the rink around 5 p.m. ET.
