Bishop was the first goalie off of the ice this morning.

Bishop allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Devils on Thursday. Bishop comes in as a winner of three of his last four while positing a 1.95 GAA and .933 SV%. Tonight he will look to knock the Bruins out of the playoffs—he is 1-1-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .902 SV% against Boston this season.

Ben Bishop
Ward is in the starter's crease this morning.

Ward allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Hurricanes 3-1 win over the Flyers on Thursday. He has won four of his last six starts while posting a 2.32 GAA and .905 SV%. Tonight he is expected to face a Red Wings team who should be resting a few players before the playoffs.

Cam Ward
Holtby will make his 73rd appearance of the season.

Holtby stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Capitals shutout win over the Bruins on Wednesday. He has won his last two starts and five of his last six while posting a 2.12 GAA and .923 SV%. Coach Trotz said that Justin Peters may come in in relief of Holtby at some point during Saturday’s tilt. Today’s start will tie Olaf Kolzig’s (Capitals) single season games played record.

The Flyers have recalled Mark Alt from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Alt, 23, made his NHL debut with the Flyers on March 28th, he was a minus-1 in just 9:25 TOI. His recall suggests that one of the Flyers blue liners is banged up and won’t play this afternoon.

The Flyers have recalled Jason Akeson from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Akeson, 24, has no points in 12 games with the Flyers this season, but will get into the lineup for the season finale with Vincent Lecavalier out of the lineup with a head injury. Akeson has collected 51 points (22G / 29A) in 53 games at Lehigh Valley.

Jason Akeson
Mason will start Saturday vs. the Senators.

Mason allowed four goals on 40 shots in the Flyers 5-4 win over the Islanders on Tuesday. Mason is finishing a great season on a high. He has won three in a row and four of his last five while posting a 1.78 GAA and .953 SV%. Despite the Flyers missing the playoffs, Mason can not be blamed. He comes into this afternoon at 18-17-11 with a 2.23 GAA and .928 SV%.

Steve Mason
Montoya will return to the Panthers crease on Saturday.

Montoya has been sidelined by a groin injury since March 3rd, but he will make one last start this season when he gets the nod tonight vs. the Devils. Montoya has had an OK season as the Panthers back-up, going 5-7-2 with a 3.08 GAA and .888 SV% in 12 starts. He has one more year on his contract and is expected to be back behind Roberto Luongo in 2015-16.

Al Montoya
Lundqvist will start the season finale vs. the Capitals.

Lundqvist stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Rangers loss to the Senators on Thursday. It was a meaningless game and it appeared as if Lundqvist was injured at one point, but with just six games under his belt since the injury, coach Vigneault will go with him again in the season finale. Since coming back he is 4-2-0 with a 2.32 GAA and .925 SV%.

Henrik Lundqvist
Byfuglien is eligible to return from suspension on Saturday.

Byfuglien has finished serving his four-game suspension and is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday vs. the Flames. While a lot of players will be getting the night off across the league, the Jets will want to get Byfuglien back into the lineup to get him back up to speed before the playoffs.

Dustin Byfuglien
The Red Wings have recalled Alexey Marchenko from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Marchenko, 23, has one goal and one assist in 12 games with the Red Wings this season. He has spent a lot of time in Grand Rapids, posting 20 points (3G / 17A) in 51 games this season. He is expected to get into the lineup on Saturday to give someone a rest.
