Mason made 46 saves on 47 shots in the Flyers win over the Penguins on Sunday. It was an outstanding performance from Mason, who has had a fantastic year despite the Flyers missing the playoffs. Mason is third in the NHL in SV% (.929) and fourth in GAA (2.19) but that has only translated into a 29th best 17 wins this season.
Montoya went through another practice Tuesday and says he would like to play in Florida's season finale Saturday against the Devils as Coach Gallant said Roberto Luongo would play Thursday. "I'm feeling better every day,” said Montoya. “I just want to give the team a chance to win if I get in there. I would like to play, off course, but it's not up to me.''
Luongo allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Panthers loss to the Lightning on Saturday. He was given Sunday off, but he will be back between the pipes tonight looking to play spoiler against the Bruins. Bobby Lu has gone 1-1-1 with a 1.92 GAA and .926 SV% in his first three outings against Boston this season.
Crawford allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blackhawks loss to the Blues on Sunday. Crawford has lost four of his last seven and tonight it looks like he will make his fourth start of the season against the Wild—in the first three meetings he went 2-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .952 SV%.
Smith allowed three goals on 45 shots in the Coyotes win over the Sharks on Saturday. Smith has won three of his last five starts while posting a 2.99 GAA and .924 SV%. Tonight it will be his fourth start against the Flames—he is 0-3-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .833 SV% in the first three contests.
Murray has missed the last nine games with an ankle injury, but there is a chance that he could get back in the lineup tomorrow vs. the Maple Leafs. Monitor his status during Wednesday’s morning skate and pre-game warmups.

Bachman allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Oilers win in Colorado on March 30th. He missed the last three games after there was a death in his family, but he will be back in tonight vs. the Kings. Bachman has won his last two games while stopping 58 of 59 shots (.983 SV%). Tonight he will take on an L.A team still fighting for a playoff spot—the Kings are 5-2-1 in their last eight games.
Hiller stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Flames 4-0 win over the Oilers on Saturday. He has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.96 GAA and .941 SV% in his last four outings. With Karri Ramo out, it will be on Hiller to get the Flames into the playoffs. Tonight he faces a Coyotes team who have lost three of their last four.
Dubnyk gave up two goals on 34 shots in the Wild’s 2-0 loss to Winnipeg last night. Despite losing three in a row, the Wild will go back to Dubnyk again tonight in Chicago. During the three-game skid Dubnyk has posted a 2.32 GAA and .915 SV%. Tonight he faces a Chicago team who have four four of five.
Timonen suffered an upper-body injury early in Sunday’s loss to the Blues and he will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. the Wild. With Timonen out, David Rundblad will be back in the lineup tonight. Timonen is day-to-day.
Richards will miss the remaining three games of the regular season, but is expected to be back in the lineup for the playoffs. Kyle Baun will make his NHL debut with Richards out.
Baun, 22, had 14 goals and 15 assists (29 points) in 38 games at Colgate University this season. After coming over from University puck he served as a healthy scratch for a few games, but will make his NHL debut with Brad Richards out with an upper-body injury.
Gunnarsson was held out of the lineup on Sunday, but will get back in tonight vs. the Jets. Gunnarsson will get back in for the injured Robert Bortuzzo.
Martin will be out of the lineup tonight because of an unspecified injury. Martin will be replaced by Colin McDonald and is listed as day-to-day.
Nielsen will be held out of the lineup tonight because of an undisclosed injury. With Nielsen out, Josh Bailey is expected to shift to centre and play in Neilsen’s spot. He is listed as day-to-day.
Miller had six points (1G / 5A) in nine games with the Oilers during his call-up. The 26-year-old heads back to OKC where he has 25 goals and 31 assists (56 points) in 58 games this season.
Pitlick has been sidelined by an undisclosed injury since December 31st, but he is expected to be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Kings. Pitlick will skate on the third line with Anton Lander and Matt Fraser. Pitlick has one goal in 14 games with the Oilers this season.
Seidenberg missed Tuesday’s practice, but he is expected to play on Wednesday in Washington. Monitor his status during the morning skate just to be sure.
The Bruins will wrap up their season on a three-game road trip, which Hamilton will not travel on. He has missed the last seven games and it looks like he will miss the rest of the regular season. At this point there is no word whether or not Hamilton will be ready for the playoffs.
