Elliott was pulled after allowing four goals on 16 shots in the Blues loss in Minnesota last Saturday. Jake Allen started the last two games but Elliott is expected to start the vast majority of the remaining games. Elliott has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .919 SV% in March.

Rinne is expected to start on Thursday.

Rinne surrendered two goals on 29 shots in the Predators 3-2 win over the Canadiens on Tuesday. After losing two in a row, Rinne has shut the door on 51 of 53 shots (.962 SV%) to earn back-to-back victories. Tonight he faces a Lightning team who have won four in a row. He made 30 saves in a 3-2 OT win in their first meeting back in February.

Bishop will be between the pipes vs. Nashville.

Bishop allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win over Boston on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back in tonight vs. Nashville. He has won three in a row while posting a 2.00 GAA and .935 SV%. Tonight he has a tough matchup with the Predators in town, but Bishop has been unreal at home (25-5-1 / 2.06 GAA / .928 SV%).

Luongo starts on Thursday in Toronto.

Luongo allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Panthers 4-3 loss to the Lightning on Tuesday. He has won two of three while posting a 1.96 GAA and .924 SV% since returning from his shoulder injury. Tonight will be his third start of the season against the Maple Leafs—Bobby Lu has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .914 SV% in the first two meetings.

Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick surrendered two goals on 36 shots in the Kings 4-2 win over the Rangers on Tuesday. Quick has won two in a row while stopping 53 of 56 shots (.946 SV%). Tonight he will take on a struggling Islanders team who have lost five of their last six outings.

Niemi gave up four goals on 36 shots in the Sharks 5-2 loss to the Senators on Monday. Niemi has dropped four of his last five starts while posting a 3.39 GAA and .891 SV%. Niemi is 7-1-0 with a 1.83 GAA and .940 SV% in eight career starts at Joe Louis Arena.

Byfuglien (upper-body) will be back in the lineup on Thursday.

Byfuglien has missed the last nine games with an upper-body injury, but he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. Montreal. Byfuglien will play on the third pairing with Adam Pardy and he will likely see some power-play time as well. Byfuglien has 15 goals and 27 assists (42 points) in 65 games this season.

Perreault was expected to miss the rest of the regular season, but he took part in the Jets morning skate on Thursday and he hopes that he will be able to play on Sunday vs. the Blackhawks. Monitor his status leading up to Sunday.

Dubinsky (upper-body) is expected to play on Friday.

Dubinsky has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but it looks like he will return on Friday in Chicago. Monitor his status during the morning skate to make sure he is back in. He has nine goals and 16 assists (25 points) in 38 games this season.

Pavelec gets the call vs. the Canadiens.

Pavelec made 33 saves on 34 shots in the Jets 4-1 victory over the Jets on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but he will be back in goal tonight vs. the Canadiens. Pavelec has won five straight starts while posting a 0.98 GAA, .967 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he will take on a Canadiens team who have won three of their last four, but will give Carey Price the night off.

Fleury gets the nod in Carolina.

Fleury allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Penguins 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues on Tuesday. Fleury lost three of his last four contests while posting a 2.92 GAA and .907 SV%. Tonight will be his third start against the Hurricanes this season—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .932 SV% in the first two meetings.
