Emery will start on Tuesday vs. Montreal.

Emery stopped five of six shots after replacing the injured Steve Mason in the Flyers 3-1 win in Washington on Sunday. With Mason sidelined for an undetermined amount of time, it is Emery’s turn yet again. Tonight he will make his third start of the year against Montreal—in the previous two, Emery is 0-1-1 with a 4.32 GAA and .864 SV%.

Ray Emery
Mason (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Mason left Sunday’s game with a lower-body injury and it will keep him out of at least Tuesday’s game. Flyers GM Ron Hextall said he’d be “surprised” if Mason played at all during the Flyers’ upcoming three-game road-trip. Rob Zepp is also injured in the minors, so it looks like Ray Emery will start on Tuesday.

Steve Mason
Pouliot (foot) will not play on Monday.

Pouliot took part in in the Oilers morning skate, but will not be in the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. It will be the third straight game that he has missed, however his participation this morning is a good sign that he could be back on Tuesday vs. the Islanders.

Benoit Pouliot
Reimer will start for the Leafs on Tuesday.

Reimer made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs 5-1 win over the Oilers on Saturday night. It was Reimer’s first win since December 14th and just the Leafs second since January 1st. Reimer comes into play on Tuesday with a 7-11-0 record, 3.11 GAA and .907 SV% on the season. Coming off of a strong game, the Leafs will go back to him tonight vs. New York.

James Reimer
Lehner will start vs. Buffalo on Tuesday.

Lehner allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Senators 4-1 loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Tonight he will make his sixth consecutive start with Craig Anderson still sidelined. In his previous five starts, he has gone 1-4-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .917 SV%. The Sens have scored a combined six goals in the four losses, so it is not on Lehner.

Robin Lehner
Scrivens starts for the Oilers.

Scrivens allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Oilers loss in Calgary on January 31st. Viktor Fasth started the last three games, but it he will be Scrivens tonight in New Jersey. He has yet to face the Devils this season, but Scrivens is 0-7-5 with a 3.36 GAA and .885 SV% on the road.

Ben Scrivens
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick stopped 26 of 28 shots that he faced in the Kings 4-2 win over the Lightning on Saturday. It was an important win for Quick, who has had his fair-share of struggles this season. He enters play on Monday 16th in the NHL in wins (18), 23rd in GAA (2.51) and 28th in SV% (.910), not quite what owners were expecting when he was drafted in the second round (on average).

Jonathan Quick
The Coyotes have reassigned Louis Domingue to Portland (AHL).

With Mike Smith getting all of the action at the NHL level, the Coyotes will likely rotate Domingue and Mike McKenna to keep both of them fresh. Domingue heads back to the AHL where he is 8-4-1 with a 2.40 GAA And .922 SV%.

The Coyotes have recalled Mike McKenna from Portland (AHL).

With Mike Smith getting all of the action at the NHL level, the Coyotes will likely rotate McKenna and Domingue to keep both of them fresh. McKenna is 18-14-2 with a 2.09 GAA and .933 SV% with Portland this season.

Mike McKenna
Mrazek will start on Wednesday.

Mrazek stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Red Wings 3-1 win over the Coyotes on Saturday. He has won three in a row while posting a 0.67 GAA, .973 GAA and one shutout. He has been red-hot which is why Mike Babcock will go with Mrazek over a healthy Jimmy Howard tonight vs. the Penguins.

Petr Mrazek
Howard (groin) thinks he is ready to return on Wednesday; needs to be cleared medically.

Howard reiterated that he thinks he is ready to play on Wednesday after finishing practice on Monday with no pain. He will need to visit with doctors for the next day or so and will need to be medically cleared.

Jimmy Howard
Wisniewski (undisclosed) will not play Monday; “possible” for the weekend.

Wisniewski will miss his second straight game tonight, but after tonight the Blue Jackets are off until Friday. Coach Todd Richards said “it’s possible” that Wisniewski will play this weekend.

James Wisniewski
Bobrovsky (groin) returned to the ice on Monday.

Bobrovsky, who has been out since January 21st, skated in full gear on Monday. He is 2 1/2 weeks into a 4-6 week timetable, so he is still a ways away, but it is a good sign that he is progressing and could return at the front-end of the original timeframe.
