Andersen allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Maple Leafs’ OT loss in Winnipeg on Wednesday. The Leafs were unable to hold onto a 4-0 lead and Andersen ended up losing his second game in blue and white. He has struggled to the tune of a 3.60 GAA and .876 SV% so far this season and will be in tough again tonight in Chicago.

Mason will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Mason allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Flyers loss to the Ducks on Thursday. Mason has yet to record a win in two starts and one relief appearance this season, while posting a 3.47 GAA and .875 SV% in the process. He draws a fairly tough matchup tonight against a Carolina team who is surprisingly averaging 3.25 goals per game to kick off this season.

Darling will start Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Darling allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Predators last Saturday. Another Saturday, another start for Darling, who will face a high scoring Maple Leafs team that has had a difficult time closing games out. Darling is a reasonable spot-start, but there are better options out there.

Markstrom stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Canucks win over the Sabres on Thursday. Markstrom has won each of his first three starts while posting a 1.65 GAA and .932 SV%. He has had a great start to the year and draws a great matchup against a struggling Kings team.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
